I don’t want to give too many details but here goes. My friend who I just reconnected with just informed me his wife of 12 years will be going through a divorce. Yes kids are involved. He was a military service member that gave his best years to the military and sacrificed time and time again for his family. Why the divorce? She cheated on him and got knocked up. Of course it was a random chad and he is trying to track the person down (She told him who but it was a foreigner). Folks, the look of defeat on his face was beyond heartbreaking. I offered my condolences, paid for lunch, and told him to call me anytime. To make matters worse, he is still in the house living with her…
I was wrong that I thought they were the exception to the rule. I was wrong when I thought four combat deployments would make any future struggle look like nothing. I was wrong in thinking she would not betray my friend’s trust. I am hoping I am wrong with what will be the outcome of the divorce.
If it costs you your peace of mind, then it is too expensive.
She will get custody and he will pay through the nose for kids that he should have custody over and would probably provide a more loving home than she ever would

He was spot on by the way. The short time I was there I saw 3 guys get cheated on by their wives….I knew bitches weren’t to be trusted ever since I f~~~ed all my sisters friends as a teen and most had boyfriends!! C~~~s!!

I work rotating shifts and it seems like there are lots of divorced guys in my department due to the weird hours and overtime a lot of us like to pick up because its good money, and there is always someone constantly going through a divorce, its like soon as one guy’s gets finalized another one is just starting his. First thing they do when they get the slightest hint there may be a divorce is to stop working all overtime to get there pay down as low as possible so they get f~~~ed less in divorce lol. Its ridiculous…she’s entitled to all of your earnings while married, at least half of your savings on the way out the door, and potential court ordered access to your future income, and worst of all has like a 99% chance of getting the better deal in terms of custody when kids are involved.
How the f~~~ does that make any sense at all? Figure out the total hours worked to earn all the money she costs you and divide it by the total hours spent having sex with her and most guys realize they could have had a hell of a lot more sex with prostitutes for a lot less money lol. The worst part is like you say…THEY CHEAT ON YOU and the courts still treat them like a victim that needs taken care of.

Haha reminds me of my job. A lot of the older guys and bosses ask if your married and/or have kids. If you say yes to either/both they’ll make small talk about the wife/kids. If you say no, most of them will say something along the lines of “Good, stay that way.” I was talking to one of the supervisors I don’t normally work for the other night and he asked one of the other young guys, “Do you know what it feels like to lose a half million dollars in the stroke of a pen?” The guy said nope. He follows up with “Well if you don’t want to find out, don’t ever get married.”
Its just such a s~~~ deal. My department works weird rotating days/shifts and we get lots of overtime opportunities. Relatively high pay + weird hours + lots of OT = lots of unhappy/cheating significant others who have a lot to gain from you in a divorce. You go off to work a 12 hour night shift…she’s calling Chad 20 minutes after you leave. F~~~ that.
My first advice to your friend is to demand a paternity test on all the kids. If this c~~~ did this, then you can rest assured it wasn’t her first rodeo.
Oh and kudos to your friend for wanting to get out. My older brother went through this and stayed because his c~~~ wife threatened that he would never see his kids again. So he stayed and I can tell you from personal experience that the guy is dead inside. The only reason he keeps going is to provide for the kids. The youngest one is almost out of high school at which time I don’t know what he will do. I almost expect to hear that he has killed himself or simply disappeared.
