    I am not a lawyer, but perhaps we have some members who are.

    Just want to follow up on our intent to move by Aug 1 … we did it tonight instead. The forums were seeing spikes and it was dragging for logged in users(!), but now it’s flying. Just clicking around is a snap now. Enjoy!

    We had an attack. I hardly noticed.

    @PPP: Anytime a system accepts random external user input, it is at risk. Strange things can happen with the right combination of bytes. I just had to disable a feature on some Exchange servers due to some newly announced flaws in some Oracle data conversion libraries used by many third parties. My users don’t use the feature anyway so I’ll leave it off as this has been an ongoing problem for several years. Microsoft may take months to issue a patch for it.

    I am banning China and eastern block countries.

    Wise move if you can get away with doing it.
