The one thing I do agree with is that men in the future are going to go to museums where models of women will be on display. The children of the future will ask what that is, and fathers will say:

First my condolences to you GravelPit. I had a dear friend commit suicide, just 20 years of age. God rest his soul.
Very jocular type but respectful and nice. Put a gun to his head and blew his brains out in his folks back porch. His father found him and yes, it was over a woman that dumped him. She was at the funeral with the crocodile tears.
It has been many years now but I still think about him and what his life would have been like. I really wish I could talk to him one last time but I guess I’ll see him on the other side.

While I generally try to stay colorblind, I find this statistic interesting. What is in the white man’s brain? What is in my brain, I was almost one of these stats.

We can’t save them. They hide from us and ignore the truth. Many cant stop drinking. They literally have to be locked up to go sober. They have to die to get sober. Going forward, I’m going to honestly try to reach out to these dudes who I think are on the cusp. Maybe they need a guy’s night out or just a good chat with a MAN. Maybe a talk can save a life….

It is silly to kill yourself. Even if the s~~~ hit the fan and I was destroyed in the divorce, I had better plans than that.

I would have charged over $100,000 in gold on the credit cards, sold the gold and put the cash into an international bank accessible from a 3rd world country, purchased a plane ticket, pulled my money out at the 3rd world country, and then vanished, never to be seen again, and never to pay off the credit cards or my student loans.

A third party would have mailed out pre-addressed postcards to those who merited it… of a hand extending the middle finger.

I have never had a female suicide in my career. Every single one was male. And yes the vast majority were middle age men.

For me it helped being cheated on and dumped several times. Never married, but they always seemed to cheated on me.

The first one was devistating. Collapsed on the floor after talking with her mom because the c~~~ wouldn’t answer the phone. At least her mother had the b~~~~ to tell me what she did. 3 f~~~ing years down the drain.

Then after several more, the callus formed. No longer thought about ending it after a break-up. The last serious live-in girlfriend, when she told me she was moving out, I f~~~ing pumped my arm like I just scored the game winning goal.

I only knew of one guy who killed himself after his girl broke up with him. He was only 24. It was in a small town as well. After it happened, everyone basically moved on with their lives and forgot about it. I still see his ex around the town when I go there to ride my bike.
