Don’t you just hate it when you’re at the movies and people around you won’t shut up, get off their phones, being kicked by the person behind you, have a crying baby, or shine laser pointers at the screen?

I remember seeing The Fog with a friend a long time ago and these 3 teenage girls in the front row wouldn’t shut up. Just yacking away loudly about girly things. I got so annoyed, I had to get a male usher in to get them to shut up. That silence only lasted 10 or so minutes and they were back to talking and being rudely obnoxious. Movie experience ruined!

Down below are 2 ranting videos of a guy who loves movies and talks about this subject. If you hear him carefully, he mostly says it’s women and kids doing the annoying things.

Does anyone experience any obnoxious people at the movies, or ever did in the past?

Haven’t been to the flicks in 20 years, but when I did, it was teenage yobs shouting and throwing things that p~~~ed me off.

It doesn’t even cross my mind to go to the movies.

It’s not that I haven’t enjoyed the “experience” in the past, but it’s just NOT part of my life…..Of course with all the PC Crap, Superhero Garbage, and the Star Wars franchise being taken over by the Dark Side it kinda leaves the idea of “New” movies as just NOT on the top of my list…..

It’s hard to forget that 99% of Hollywood is full of socialist, and that’s just another whole layer of disgust….

I saw “Uncut Gems” with Adam Sandler on Christmas day when all the non-christians go to the movies. It was packed. They say more people are going to the movies than ever. I haven’t been to see a movie in years but they had this “Dolby” theatre that had great seats that go back like recliners with controls on the huge arm rests. The seats vibrated during rumbling audio in the movie.

“Uncut Gems” was a nice little film about a MAN. It didn’t revolve around women. Women were in the film but only supported the lead male actor.

The writing was about him and his male business men he had to deal with.

I’m not giving anything away when I say that he is a degenerate gambler that get’s into trouble with a loan shark and all the exploits that revolve around this conflict.

Long story short, almost got into a fist fight with a black dude who wouldnt stop fvxking with his cell phone in a movie. Big guy too, would have been a brutal matchup.

Got him kicked out instead, got free tickets. Ruined the movie for many folks that night because of the events.

Now I only go for the films I have to see, and when I go, I sit in the front part where no one goes because the screen is so large. But you know what? The BIG SCREEN is the reason I came, not to look at my phone. Also, there are theatres that wont put up with that sh!t.

I’ve probably been to two movies in the last 12 months.
But I used to go regularly. And found ushers useless.
Not once was a person ever ejected from a theater for rude behavior.

    So….

In my earlier adulthood I would always buy and extra soda.
That way if someone (usually a woman) talked so much the show was basically ruined,
I could dump the soda on her head from behind, and just walk out while everyone freaked over the mess…

If you do this, make sure it is a highly sticky sugary soda…….

🙂 yeah, I can be THAT bastard…..and I’ve been applauded on at least 3 occasions by the entire theatre.

Don’t go on opening weekend. Wait for the film to be out for a few weeks, then see it on a Tuesday matinee when the rest of the audience are all napping boomers.

They say more people are going to the movies than ever.

Naw. Ticket sales have been in a downward spiral for years. And that was before streaming became a thing.

It’s examples like these is why I can’t stand people; they’re rude, obnoxious and inconsiderate.

What a coincidence; this topic about the movies was just on Greg Gutfeld’s show tonight. It was about an English woman who says that all theaters should ban tall hairstyles at the movies. I never thought I hear myself say this, but hold on, I agree with the woman. I agree with her, because I don’t want to be at a movie and I have to sit behind someone with big hair even though I’m not short.
