Trump lawyer calls for end of Mueller probe

President Donald Trump’s attorney John Dowd is calling for the end of special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into Russian election meddling.

“I pray that Acting Attorney General Rosenstein will follow the brilliant and courageous example of the FBI Office of Professional Responsibility and Attorney General Jeff Sessions and bring an end to alleged Russia collusion investigation manufactured by McCabe’s boss James Comey based upon a fraudulent and corrupt dossier,” Dowd told CNN in a statement, reacting to the news of former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe’s firing.

Not going to happen. Trump can try to do a version of the Nixon Massacre, but it isn’t likely to happen. I am seeing a number of these whining requests and editorials for it to stop. It isn’t going to. Trump repeatedly says he is innocent. The next step is to spin it so that Trump is cracking down on Russian meddling. The question is whether or not Russia did it, but that the Trump administration wasn’t involved. The House findings said there wasn’t collusion, just bad judgement and errors made. The next phase is to fully find out what Russia did.

If Trump did nothing, why fear Mueller? Any sort of early bias folk have been removed. You can press to know if more than the Spy Dossier was used, and ask to see more. What happens when you end up going off and do what the protests are, you end up looking guilty.
