So I’ve been putting off purchasing 9mm ammunition since times is tight, but I was just wondering if tariffs could cause inflation in ammo prices. It looks like the tariffs target steel and aluminum.

Also if military funding goes through as Trump describes, I could see a shortage develop.

    Thoughts?

    Brass, lead, copper…..
    Um, not steel or aluminum.

My dad use to reload his own. It is cheaper and you might enjoy it.

Everything except for the expendables and a rubber mallet can be had for as little as $40 bucks.

    Lee Loader on Amazon

FYI I am not a Lee Loader Pimp.

I would suspect that prices will benefit from a few months of folks calming down after the FL shooting (let the frenzy pass).

Prices might climb in November if it appears that Dems will have significant success in the midterms.

I don’t know why increased military funding would cause a shortage.

Tariffs won’t really affect it since most steel cased ammo in the US is imported from Romania, Ukraine, Serbia etc

If you buy online you can get ammo a lot cheaper. I am able to consistently get 1000 rounds of 9mm for around $200 by taking advantage of sales. These are brass rounds btw not s~~~ty steel casings
