There is a belief, that somehow, the invisible hand alone will somehow magically make everything work out for everyone, outside of the losers of course. The losers are those falling behind, and it must be their fault. As more people fall in the loser category, the system will feed lottery ticket lies to them, making them think they may be the lucky ones, if you just leave things alone. Along the way, you will have some proposing socialism. Others will say socialism is evil. Others will say it is foreigners and open borders. Some will cling to nationalism, and believing somehow a corruption of “Christian values” (with Muslims it is the violation of the will of Allah) is what is causing it all. Along the way, politics will be turned into bread and circuses, used to entertain and distract. People will be forced to pick one of two sides, and belief that a side consisting of strangers they don’t know, will have their back. There is also a longing for the things of the past, as if that will happen.

Issue here is, how do you get your chit together in all this, and try to manage somehow? No one has your back, unless you know them, and they know you. There will be, in America, even more cuts to the safety net, and any government programs for support. Starving the beast will be in full effect. The system will need to find a way to get people to die off without being notice. Let’s just call all the media “fake news”, whether it is or isn’t, and that way people merely trust their gut, or whatever swill bulls~~~ is pushed, whether it be by Obama, Bernie, Trump or anyone else. Or, the other way is to hold such ideals no one can meet, and blame those ideals.

Yup, I used to think that it was just Detroit. I used to say to myself. “All the USA must be better than here, its just Detroit that is rotten” (but I don’t really travel much).

After joining up here on MGTOW, and listening to your’s and others stories it was a real eye opener. All of America is turning into Detroit. Some places got their sooner than others, but the whole damn country is slowly getting there. The Yuppies are in denial with their heads buried in the sand.

The Federal Government needs to file bankruptcy like Detroit did.

What I wrote there is of particularly truth, regarding the Internet. With professional sports, console wars, politics, etc… there is this faux motion going on by society to try to fill a need to belong to something bigger than one self, so people act as suckers with it. As a warning here, and my take, I see it around the MGTOW space. I see “brother” thrown out by men, to other men they don’t know, assuming they are something. They aren’t. What you see humans together doing is thinking this, but it isn’t so.

So, in regards to the wage part, you can end up with a North Korean style nationalism, where a nation cuts itself off from rest of the world, and demand loyalty to a leader and group identity. Or, you can go with globalization, with just a pittance handed out to hold off revolts that would collapse things.

As a non-conformer, who is a single white male, I see no one has my back, no one in power at all. And now I have years on me. The only strategy I have now is to scale back, try to live as cheaply as possible, and adjust. I get allies along the way, that is fine, but I am not expecting any. For me, this is a way I would have MGTOW go, that being the IGMOW way. Others may see it as some sort of collective thing for men, who agree on political views and hold out hope for change. I don’t see that coming personally. I just hope I can afford my own funeral and a grave at this point.
