I am not much a computer game kind of guy but every once in a while, I pick up a game and finish it.
I remember there was a huge buzz about the Witcher and I really liked the second one and because there was a sale for the third on steam, I decided to go for it and bought it.Anyway, there are no special moves in this game, you get a headache pretty quickly and basically, it’s going to that guy, ask him something, kill the monster and go back to take your pay.
However, this game has over the top reviews and people seem to be fond of it, but after few hours with it, I grew tired and uninstalled it.
what’s your opinion ?

This type of branding where a company has a sequel that has all the cool and awesome factors removed from the sequel to produce the sequel on the cheap is one of the reasons I stopped buying new games.
That reason and DLC scam where the game companies piece meal the actual game features you want to play in five dollar increments, while still pretending they are selling the actual game at full price over the check out store. So in the end, if you want to play the game you were sold the way it is advertised you pay over twice what the amount you paid for the first part of the game at the store.
It’s funny you should mention this, I was having a similar discussion with a friend recently. I tried and mostly failed at getting into Witcher 2. I played the first one as well, but for some reason I just couldn’t quite get into it. I should give it another whirl, some games take repeated attempts before you ‘click’ with it.
As for Witcher 3, it took me a long time to get into that. I would play it for an hour, give up, come back to it a month later and try again. Repeat, rinse. Repeat, rinse. Eventually I forced myself to put some time into it and I started to enjoy it. Perhaps it felt like much of the quests were more of a chore, a shopping list of things to do. Maybe it was the characters. For some reason I disliked the female characters more than the real life counterparts!?
Strangely once I did complete it the compulsion to play it again was totally gone for me. When I consider games that I kept coming back to, say Final Fantasy 7 or Fallout 4, GTA 5 (especially Vice City) I kept coming back for more. Strange.

Not really. I have been going back to my old video game collection, as well.
I would go back to World of Warcraft if the player base had not turned so childish. The last guild I was in collapsed over a meaningless insult that I found out the day after.
The dungeon design in World of Warcraft peaked in Burning Crusade with Karazhan.
I may go back to that game in a few months now that Karazhan has been updated to a five man in the Legion expansion. Then again, they may have watered down Karazhan’s game mechanics to the point it is not worth going back. I will have to look into that matter before I decide what to do.
I considered buying it, but it looks like a skyrim clone from your words. I don’t think I can play a similar game again.
Without reading any of the posts in this thread – YES!
Being serious tho – everyone has their own opinion on stuff….took me ten hrs to get into it but once I did I spent another 140 hrs on it. The fact SJWs moaned about it was reason enough to get into it…the Bloody Baron missions are the most fleshed out side missions in gaming. Plus you get Gwent….one of the best games ever made imo

Anonymous3Witcher 3 is easily the best AAA game I’ve played in years, probably since Obsidian’s Fallout: New Vegas and to a lesser extent Bethesda’s Skyrim. I can’t think of anything else since then in the AAA arena that wasn’t just blue pilled mainstream BS.
But it’s always whatever style of game you like. I prefer RPGs and exploration.
If you are an FPS shoot everything type of guy, then Witcher 3 isn’t your style of game. I sort of liked Doom but I got bored, and I never bother with Call of Duty because I don’t like it. Even Fallout 4 I got too bored to continue, similar to how you got bored of Witcher 3.
I tend to play smaller indie games these days, although I don’t play too much at all in general. I find books are more reliable, especially older books that seem to all be more red pill.
Simply put I judge everything fantasy on Skyrim, I know it sounds bad but Skyrim has yet to be beat in my eyes. The lore is deep if you go looking, the game play is just right and just over all its a game that keeps on giving, I’ve replayed it countless times and each time its a different story for me…
Witcher as a series is ok, but tbh at the end of the day there is a reason I’m going to buy Skyrim for the 3rd time when it comes out on the Nintendo switch X-D
"Listen Morty, I hate to break it to you, but what people call love is just a chemical reaction that compels animals to breed. It hits hard, Morty, then it slowly fades; leaving you stranded in a failing marriage. I did it, your parents are gonna do it, break the cycle, Morty, rise above! Focus on science" ~Rick Sanchez, Rick and Morty (TV Show)

Skyrim is good for wandering off into the wilderness and it feels like a gaming hiking holiday. Witcher 3 is all about the deep characters – shades of grey all over the place and every character has more to them than just “click conversation choice”
as I say above – the Bloody Baron missions are the best sidequests I have ever played
Which games have trailer that show women are monsters and you kill her?
Even the first Witcher cinematic show the princess is a monster and you get attacked trying to save her.
I am not on Witcher 3 yet, just started the original Witcher and think for a 10 year old game it is good.
There is no magic in MGTOW, just recognition of the truth and logical decision how to avoid dangers. The red pill is but the truth, it is no magical potion. Do not think in this modern world men have no longer have natural enemies, men are prey to women and government.
