Always someone else's fault

Story in the Mail about people getting conned by scammer’s pretending to be from Microsoft and asking for Remote Access to the victim’s PC.

Two things I noticed:

1) Mostly Strong Independent divorced Single Mothers with s~~~ loads of cash,
2) Said mother’s blame the Banks for their own stupidity.

The comments are split between people mocking their dumb asses, and women siding with the victims, as no woman could possibly be at fault right?

Me neither,

I’m not the smartest technology user but I know some young dudes who are pretty hot on corporate networks. “Never use Online Banking” they told me, “It is not secure”. I use the machine at the bank that lets you transfer money between accounts and pay bills etc. If that gets it’s security hacked it’s the Banks fault, not mine.

I work in the banking industry clients get fraud ed all the time some of them are really complex some very simple like press this random link etc I also never bank online. Cfo ceo’s get hacked all the time with Trojans remote access programs variants of key logger programs.

“Fault” and “blame” are female words and a woman’s game. They should be permanently stricken from the lexicon. You don’t need fault or blame in the presence of personal responsibility,

Fault and blame are external and they ALWAYS want to push it to someone else.
Personal responsibility is the opposite of “blame”.

Here’s where it gets interesting…..

Pretend there is a Lion cage over there, and there are 5 women standing nearby. A man starts smiling and dancing around infront of the cage with a raw steak on his head – and the lion MAULS him.

Who’s “fault” would the women say that is?

Who is to BLAME for that?
Who is personally responsible?

He is. For all of it.

They would say it’s HIS fault. HE was stupid. HE is to blame. HE was personally responsible and HE should have known better. And they would be right!

…. unless he’s a woman.
Then she’s a “victim” and it’s everyone ELSE’s fault.

I think its a special kind of moron personality type that falls for these scams. If I get a number on my caller ID I don’t recognize and they don’t leave a message, it just means its nothing for me to worry about…random butt dial, wrong number, robo caller, telemarketer…w/e…don’t care. I know plenty of people though that will call back every number they see pop up on their phone and be like “WHO IS THIS, WHY ARE YOU CALLING ME?!” I suspect these are the same type of people that fall for simple scams like clicking on random links in their email and forking over personal information.
