Will soon dazzle him with my presence.

Dazzle or Drizzle? Don’t let your alter-ego (Pig Wood Flasher) show up in Kansas. Some of the local wildlife get randy when those types show up.

Me and Herm embracing like long lost lovers.
He thinks me folly when I say I will come over to Kansas and complex his Hippocampus with my glorious form.
I just need the bastard County!

That director is Crazy. Inland Empire is one of the most weird f~~~ing movies ever. I will never waste my time watching anything from that director. Once I watched Muhalland Drive I was DONE.

Thanks for the link. I like surreal/abstract films. The Europeans are particularly proficient(French/Scandinavians).
Have you watched Eraser head and Driller Killer?

No I never bothered because of Muholland Dr. and Inland Empire were so obnoxious, I can’t stand the guy really.

I LOVE strange movies and the abstract too but only when there is still a point. David Lynch is just senseless depraved WANNA-BE strange. He comes off as imbecilic, not mysterious. I dont know, maybe Im too harsh… he’s just so weird dude.

I didn’t realize he made the original DUNE. I like that movie.

    Good movie Dune.
Depravity only works when it’s pertinent to the characters. Trying to “shock” the audience with mindless violence comes off as a insecure. The characters need to befit the storyline.

Two of my favorite films, precisely because they’re strange, abstract but they still makes sense when analyzed.

Eyes Wide Shut. It’s just clean, good director and cinematography. Clean sounds, clean writing, clean audio and colors as well as great actors. A masterpiece. The writing and mystery of it is still perplexing enough to be debated. There are many forums with valid arguments. What’s certain is the Kubrick laid in VOLUMES of enigmatic symbols and hidden meanings. It has nothing to do with the illuminati but its still SO deep. Hell, maybe it does have something to do with illuminati, thats the brilliance of it.

Under the Skin. Another brilliantly director and masterful performance. Exotic, provocative, sexy yet terrifying. And it has a point. I would have loved to see the spaceship or the actual form that the alien took but it would have been so difficult to portray visually, it would have killed the flavor of the film.

I could name many films: All of them worlds better than anything Lynch is remotely capable of.

Never seen either. Tom stars in some provoking films.
I mentioned before, but I advocate “Nathan Barely”, a six episode British satire that accurately depicts the future ie hipsters, social networking etc A fairly unknown but outstanding series.

Under the Skin & Eyes Wide Shut are must see films. When you get a chance, buy them as cheap DVD with a six-pack of Ale or whatever you do, just watch it.

You will love both. There are significant breasts and pubic hair in both.

Its getting to the point now, maybe it’s always been this way… if you want to see good film, search for directors not titles.

Oh yeah, I told you before to watch movie called Lobster. and another by same director called Killing of a Sacred Deer.
Why does the United Kingdom produce so many good directors. True visionaries up there.

Just fantasy, easily left behind. I have always had the ability to just give things up. Can be both a blessing and a curse. It is the drifter in me.For example this is the thirteenth place I have lived at in 15years(since divorce). A defence mechanism little Herm.

Whatever, you creepy freaky weird f~~~, little Collllllin.

Chose to ignore the reply to your question and focus on the negative. It’s all about you isn’t it. Are you an only child and did Mommy give you enough affection?

Yes, it is all about me. I tried to care about others. I tried to be a nice guy and got s~~~ on most every time. So now, f~~~ you all. I’m focusing on me as no one else will give a damn. Gotta’ take care of myself. You wouldn’t even send me money for my new gun, you selfish prick.

Watched Lobster. Ok, original storyline, but could of been better.
We produce so many good films as we know how to produce grit. Comes from living on a small industrialised Island in the middle of the Atlantic/Channel.
Here are three British films I advocate. All free on You-tube
    DEAD MANS CARDS

    DEAD MANS SHOES

    TYRANNOSAUR

It’s all too easy Brad. Around lunchtime in blustery Kansas now. Little Herm eating his cheese sandwiches with his saggy workmates, talking about this “weird” Brit he converses with on some obscure website.

Actually I was talking about you to a couple other English friends I have over there.

You do so enjoy attempting to make people uncomfortable. Is that another defense mechanism?

So if I just give you the county, will that be enough for you to find me? You don’t need a nearby town? If I just tell you I live in Tumbleweed county, you’ll be able to track me down?

I like “Eyes Wide Shut”. Tom Cruise was really good in it, but I think he’s good in most of his movies.
