    Mangina, feminist s~~~.

I’m f~~~ing sick to death of seeing bitches like this in movies, screaming and acting the c~~~..Oh look, only the guy gets killed in the end shower scene.

F~~~ off Ridley. Won’t be watching.

Remember how good John Carpenters The Thing was? Imagine women in it. It would have been f~~~ing ruined. (Oh…the remake was dog s~~~. Funny that…)

The Aliens was the last movie about nightmare creatures from horrible corners of the Universe. So speaking of the fifth movie I would prefer to watch chicks are hanging out, drinking alcohol and lot of f~~~ with each other and with males and even with the drones. Oh, gosh…

Though I am a fan of the classic films, the remake looks like a polished turd on a paper plate!

Hopefully Blomkamp’s alien movie will be much, much better.

Interesting how Hollywood is so bereft of ideas they think they need to constantly re-make stuff. And it is almost never better than the original.

Was that cucky Titanic better than the original—Night to remember? NOT
Was John Carpenter’s the Thing better than the original–OK its a tie
How about the remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre? Saw it and whoever the clown is who made this turkey had NO idea what Tobe Hooper was trying to say in those movies.

I didn’t particularly like the Alien movies for two reasons: a) ugly dyke cat lady wins over all
Yeah right, and b) the alien itself makes no sense—its life cycle is an impossibility—if they kill everything then who is going to be a host? DUH. It happens but only very rarely in nature does a parasitical life form kill its host–and for good reason. So Riddly how about putting a little more thought into the next one.

OK if they want to re-make Legend in such as way that doesn’t involve the entire world ending over some princess-bitch that would be OK.

Life cycle of some wasps is similar to the Aliens, and wasps are fine with that. Breeding rate of the Aliens is shown as a very high. This makes the Alien’s life cycle looks unrealistic.
PS: And yes, it’s time to put some real sci-fi in the plot.

    Blomkamp’s alien movie

I didn’t even know there was going to be two! Anyways covenant looks like it will cater to your usual air head millennial and the one with weaver will be for fans of the original.

So I take it this one isn’t going to answer all the unanswered questions either, and, like Prometheus, is going to leave viewers just p~~~ed off that Ridley keeps leaving people hanging.

He is, I think, artistically just incredible, and I can’t argue with his vision (inspired by Giger or not). His films are beautiful and directed in such a precise way that I find just spellbinding. His aliens don’t make a lot of sense, which is why so many people wanted him to goddamn explain them, finally, after umpteen goddamn films.

That said . . . oh, f~~~ it, spoiler. The alien/xenomorph in the series is actually derived from the beachball stores-stealing creature in Dark Star, Dan O’Bannon’s student film. Cannot make this s~~~ up. If you research it (Wikipedia will do), it will take all the scary away from all the films. O’Bannon, who was broke, ripped off his own movie in one of a myriad of scripts he wrote allinarowatbreakneckspeed to try and stay financially solvent.

Since the movie was O’Bannon’s creation, one of many he was cranking out to stave off bankruptcy, there was no grand, overarching vision by Ridley. That’s pure bulls~~~, since Ridley didn’t create the goddamn plot in the first place. Given the wanderings and musings of various Alien flicks over the years, one can see that. O’Bannon did NOT see the Engineers as having created the Aliens (although Giger has gone back and forth on this).

It’s a brilliant series, and Ridley is one of the best directors ever, but I don’t think he knows how to wrap it all up (in a cinematic universe that also includes Predators and via “bug hunt” comments clearly includes other alien life as well). I’ll wait for this on small screen / Amazon / Netflix, and I’m sure I’ll look up the plot before I see it so as to not be just completely f~~~ing rip s~~~ at the lack of closure.

As I understand it Blomkamp’s was shelved at least until Ridley Scott finishes his Prometheus trilogy.

Personally the original Alien is one of my favorite sci-fi films ever. In the realm of fiction I don’t mind a strong female character if it’s done well and ‘earns it’ and, in my opinion, Ripley was done well. Aliens I was never as big a fan as most guys my age. But it’s ok. Alien 3 was pretty good, IMO though most people hated it. I hated Alien Resurrection. I hated the AVP movies.

Now Prometheus, I actually quite liked. I know I’m weird. But I thought the film was beautiful and the ideas intriguing with the whole ‘chariots of the Gods’ angle. I was disappointed that it didn’t deliver on any of the answers it promised with the Engineers, etc. We’ll see how Covenant turns out. I am hopeful but he does seem to be retreading a lot of territory he’s already covered.

I was hoping that Prometheus II would be an awesome movie and clear up a lot of the mystery about the first movie. The first Alien movie was good on it’s own. When they made all those sequels, they ruined it. I wish Ridley Scott would make a movie about the “Engineers.”

I think the Alien-franchise is going the same route as Star Wars, into utter s~~~ territory. The best Alien-movies were the first one and the sequel.

Exactly. Everythings become pussified. The cinematography is utterly sterile and the film makers imagination completely f~~~ing baron. It’s s~~~ on a stick for the masses to lick off.

Now its suddenly a big deal if a film gets an R rating. Seriously, f~~~ todays world. It’s lost its b~~~~ and soul.

I absolutely hated Prometheus. Couldn’t believe wtf I was seeing.
