I don’t know if this is a topic for the Work or Money sections, so I chose Work. Anyway, I was thinking about doing a work-from-home business next year, and I was wondering if Alibaba is a good site to get products and resell on either eBay or Amazon? I thought about buying blank T-shirts and printing images on them. So is Alibaba a good site for buying and reselling? The only downside I can think of already is the products are all made in China and you have to buy in large bulk.

I think you’re a bit late to this. The easy money on this arb was made a long time ago. I’m not sure it’s really worth the hassle anymore, but I could be wrong.

If you can set it up right where you do minimal work you can have a bit of passive income with it. Just remember, the folks that buy stuff like this are a bunch of retards, mostly women. I’d rather have 10 bucks a month coming in with just a little work up front than no bucks coming in. Will you get rich and be able to quit your job? Not real sure. I’ve made my cash the old fashioned way, hard work and investment. However, that doesn’t mean there aren’t other ways to make cash.

Don't stick your dick into anyone you aren't willing to put up with for eighteen years and nine months.

My shop used to buy their plywoods…until the 125% tariff on chinese goods kicked in recently. I thank God everyday for that tariff. Chunks of God only knows what blended into the wood plys…including metal. Worse crap ever. Anyway, Chinese products are crap and it’s getting treated like crap now.

It’s a good site to source from because the prices are cheap. On the other hand, printing on t-shirts is tough – hard to know what people want printed and willing to pay for.

Any business you’ll have to stick with for give years and develop a clientele. No such thing as a quick buck.
