It starts with an expensive ring, a new place to live SHE likes, new clothes, new car, new credit cards, her on the bank account, she quits her job, there is “her” money and “our” money, never “my” money. In fact, it starts ON he wedding night with your new bride. Add controlling behavior, honey do lists, no more time out with the boys. What was expected as “happiness”, turns instead to “unhappiness”. Then, as things break down, and her criticisms and arguments increase, the divorce looms and arrives. Yes, she gets the typical unethical hyena lawyer w.ho inflicts pain on YOU to pry more money and property from you than she deserves. Sometimes more than she asks for. He has his legal lawyer associates, and para legals, and legal secretaries, and private investigators. After two marriages, it cost me enough that had i NOT married, the amount spent on her and divorce etc, would have, if invested, paid for dates and liasons with hot women the rest of my life. Don’t marry. After #3, I have had a repeating question of my men friends: “Have you ever known of a couple in a marriage where both were happy and in love, all the way out?” Answer universally, NO. Think about it. Don’t marry and ruin a good thing with your girl if you have one and need one. Keep it single, and with the ability to walk with YOUR stuff and money and investments. Don’t have kids, just because she wants one, do it only if YOU want kids, then prepare for 20 years of support for them.

The best defense is to not get married, co-habitate or get into a relationshiite. Renting by the hour is cheaper in the long run. Once the courts get involved you are screwed. The money you could be on the hook for is far greater than using a high end escort and you aren’t required to use them on a regular basis. You have some discretion there. When it comes to alimony or child support, the court doesn’t care if you lost your job or got hurt and cannot work. You pay when they say or you go to jail and the amount owed keeps tallying up.
