I just noticed while watching Jim Carrey’s classic comedy films, his character Ace Ventura was definitely a MGTOW.
He spends more time with animals than humans. He has some sexual encounters with women but no relationships.
A conversation with a female police lieutenant in the first movie goes like this:
Lois:”How would you like me to make your life a living hell ?”
Ace:”Well, I’m not ready for a relationship, Lois, but thank you for asking.”Also, another time when he’s visiting a mental institution, there’s a drawing on a billboard in the hallway. It’s a big red heart on top of which a big screw is drawn ! SCREW LOVE ? Someone in the filming team was red-pilled !
Anyway, I liked his movies, but now I do even more.
Just thought I’d share.
Good day.Perhaps his character was MGTOW but Carrey isn’t.
This scene always makes me laugh no matter how many times i watch it.

Anonymous14Big fan of the early Carey stuff! The Ace Ventura ones were a big deal when I was in my early 20’s. I can remember being drunk at parties and there would always be that one dude doing Ventura stuff or Fire Marshal Bill imitations from In Living Color. Movies out of Hollywood in general have regressed to the point that they nearly all have the same agenda, some just hide it more subtly than others. There is very little I like that has come out in the last twenty years or so.

I used to do this one as a kid all the time.

No, sure, it was just a character. And like Redpillbible said, I wasn’t aware of his trial, although it doesn’t change my opinion of the guy.

Same here ! Although I was in my teens when it came out.
And I agree on Hollywood. Once in a while, I’ll find a movie that I like but they usually are independent films with smaller budgets and they don’t seem tainted by all the propaganda we all know so well.
But let’s just say I have my classics. haha
Thanks for the replies, guys !
