Greetings men. Have any of you suffered under the “you’re too negative” mantra? I have heard this the majority of my adult life. I try to see the truth at all times, as best I can. Often, I find the truth differs from the conformist’s reality and I am labeled as a defective pessimist. I try to see problems because it is the only rational way I can try to come up with a solution. I am slowly learning to stop vocalizing the problems and physically working on solutions. All of your thoughts are appreciated.

Lol. When people don’t want to hear the truth, they always treat you with that “you too negative” s~~~. Also when you dig too deep in the problem, people react the same. It’s all about our biology. In fact, the human’s brain doesn’t like to work.

I have to disagree with this one man. Otherwise, as a civilization, we would have nothing. I think we are awesome thinkers.

    Of course. But here’s how that works . . . .

“A marriage contract fails a cost/benefit analysis for men.”

    “You’re too negative.”

“Oh really? The moon is also a lifeless rock with no atmosphere. Did I just say something negative about the moon? Or is that the way things really ARE?”

“You’re too negative” is a hocus-pocus smokescreen from someone who refuses to see things as they really are. They are preoccupied with PERCEPTION instead of REALITY…. so they attempt to change your perception. It’s all they have.

I’m trying to be neutral as I go through my days but just recently, during the past couple of days I have unfortunately fallen into some negativity .. and it all happened on Thanksgiving eve. I helped prepare a meal for a couple of close relatives and their kids. Attending the Wed eve dinner were four adults including myself and their families.

Answering calls .. or even just the sound of a tone and the raising of a hand to pause a table conversations as they .. attend to their message. Even if they didn’t have to look .. that tone still interrupted .. over and over again. I can solve this by dining alone .. I know that perfectly well. I know the solution .. but, it’s the principal of it all.

Our group meal, which I naively thought was going to be a fairly quiet affair turned out to be a series of calls and basically an answering session for the kids and one of the adults.

I am not going to tell others how to live, ever .. but, when people literally walk into me in a parking lot or store aisle because they are fixated on an electronic device in their hands, it gets tiresome.

They confuse “negativity” with “objective thinking” let them go on getting their hands burned on the stove always forgiving the stove for being hot. It’s just the psychobabble trademark of an inferior thinker, somewhat willingly ignorant to the point that in the light of sanity they appear somewhat insane with the stove burns covering both arms and still never learning to stay away from the stove.

Keep right the f~~~ on Negativing if that’s what what you like to do! There’s plenty of negative people stabbing other people in the back that NEED TALKING ABOUT AND WARNING OTHERS OF THE DANGER…

F~~~ them if they don’t like it! I say if they have their heads buried in the sand then kick them in the ass!

I cleared the house on Thanksgiving just because I told the truth about a few things, does that count? Family calls me negative all the time, all I am doing is informing about stuff they don’t know about. I guess it pokes holes in their Liberal Media bubble that they are happy to be stuck in I guess…

Most of my relatives voted Clinton, the subject came up, I asked what they knew about Syria, nothing of course. I told them what was going on with the pipelines and how the Left was pushing McCarthyism here and then asked if they realized they just voted for WW3?

Tower, how did you get those pictures of my family?

I shouldn’t let these things get to me, but, taking calls and having to listen to ring tones at Thanksgiving dinner just got to me.

I don’t think you are wrong on this one. It is disrespectful of the meal, its purpose, and its host(s). This is an example of what I mean. If you were to say ” Shut the devices off at the meal and leave them at the front door in a basket!”, you would be looked upon as a dinner nazi. But, in my opinion, you would be in the right.

Ha ha ha ha ha, you’re f~~~ing awesome dude! Do you melt their ears over like melting hot plastic the way I do?

I bet the most common thing they say to you is “I don’t want to hear it!”. Am I right or am I right?

(Off topic @MG-Tower and others. I hope you don’t mind, as a test, I took the liberty of replacing a referenced image from an HTTP source and got one from an HTTPS source – which is secure. Referencing images from a non-secure site makes page seem insecure and it will fail to display a . This not a big problem, because forums pages don’t need to be “secure” ( like a bank website does ), but it makes a difference. Will remove this notice and make a more site-wide announcement about this – just for awareness. Thank you.)

I’m only telling you what I heard. I watched it on TV. Biologist said that after we think hard and long there are some of dead brain cells can be found in our excrements. Something alike I heard from a familiar doctor. He told me that a human’s brain feels itself better when provides simple functions like eating, s~~~ting, sleeping and getting pleasure. Hard thinking is exchuausing it.

My brother’s girlfriend got up and stormed out of the house after I made a comment about a commercial where a Priest buys his Imam buddy some kneepads because their knee’s hurt from praying so much. I said “Yea, you can buy them some kneepads but don’t stop paying your taxes, because we need em so that we can keep killing them”. I guess that was the last straw for her after the WW3 comment I made earlier.

These are Obamabots all around me, they don’t like to hear anything to do with reality. Head’s in the sand, all of them. On the upside, I don’t get invited over often…I was actually doing fairly well, kept quiet for the most part about real issues. I mean, had I just been myself without the mental straightjacket I could have cleared the room before dinner was even served.

Thanks Keymaster. I suffered this for the first seventeen years of my life. The perception was warm and calming, but my soul wanted more. I wanted more. I wanted the truth, and yes, I could handle it. 😉

I don’t do pain for a pastime pleasure, that in and of itself is mental illness.

This is great advice. I have been stuck in the addiction for almost 25 years. Thanks Tower.

No worries man! I have thought a lot and I have a different opinion. We are so much more than we give ourselves credit for. Watch newest South Park where the character Butter’s proudly displays his wiener. We are men. We come from men. We are inspired from the Divine.

Coping with the TRUTH™ is actually surprisingly easier than coping with someone standing in front of you trying to sell you a s~~~ sandwich. That’s infuriating.

The most revealing word in the “you’re too negative” statement –>> is the word “too”.

… as if only a certain degree of “negativity” is acceptable and they will now draw that line FOR you.

“You’re too negative. You can think negative thoughts, but don’t be TOO negative or I will police your thoughts.”

“Why don’t you just f~~~ off. Is that negative enough? Or is it TOO negative? When you decide, you can file a complaint on my crotch.”.

Most people prefer to live in their bubble, once you confront them with the truth, they pull the negativity card.
The result is they withdraw from you over time > reason I don´t have too much friends. I´m personally preferring the truth, even if it is hurtful, when called out on it, my answer is: “So you prefer living in an illusion?” the reply is mostly: “But… void argument … bla bla”.
The red pill for me means a little more than knowing about how women really are, it´s more about how the world really is (or works), and having an individual understanding of it, based on what I can accept, bear or what seems plausible. (I know it´s my own bubble, but I´ll burst it if necessary)
People just don´t bother with or seek the truth because it´s beyond their comfort zone or they´re just to ignorant, lazy or lack comprehension, once the truth on whatever surfaces and is spread by MSM, they´re the first ones to fake dismay… pathetic.
    Just ignore those hypocrites!

Ah, women. They make the highs higher and the lows more frequent. Friedrich Nietzsche

Or is that the way things really ARE?

Agreed. I have a positive outlook on life for the most part, but I’m a realist. If you go into life thinking it’s all good or all bad then you might have a problem. When things are good call them good. When things are bad call them bad.

Unfortunately women live in this little bubble where they don’t have to worry about reality because some man will come along and fix it for them. If they had to deal with their own problems then maybe they’d realize that there is negativity outside their little safespace.

Feminism is a movement where opinions are presented as facts and emotions are presented as evidence.

This came to mind when I saw this topic.

“Only dreamers believe in ways out. Optimism is cowardice. We are born in this time and must bravely follow the path to the destined end. There is no other way. Our duty is to hold on to the lost position, without hope, without rescue. To hold on like that Roman soldier whose bones were found in front of a door in Pompeii, who died because they forgot to relieve him when Vesuvius erupted. That is greatness; that is to have race. This honorable end is the one thing that cannot be taken from Man.”

    -Oswald Spengler

Keep it coming. I was told that I can’t come to family Christmas this year because I make people cry when I ask questions.
