Aaron Hernandez Commits Suicide:

So the the former tight end of the Patriots, Aaron Hernandez apparently committed suicide this morning. The details are quite fishy, as he was apparently going to be acquitted of the charges. Probably due to him having so much money. I think some of the other convicts got word of this, and decided to take justice into their own hands. What do you guys think?

Yeah, just to be clear, he was already convicted of one murder and got a life sentence with no chance of parole. The murder charges he just beat were from a double murder a few years earlier.

Interestingly enough, the murder he was convicted for was a murder of a very good friend that he thought might rat him out about the first murders. So he killed him. Then he beat the rap on the first murders, which means that he might not have needed to kill his friend after all.

Maybe a little guilt over finding out that you likely didn’t have to kill your friend to get away with killing two random strangers, and knowing that you are now still going back to a cell for the rest of your life gave him a moment of clarity.

Instead of just playing football, and winning super bowls and enjoying life with his millions, he decided being a murderer for a living was a better idea.

Again, just to be clear, he wasn’t being released. He was headed back to prison to continue his life sentence for the first murder that he had already been found guilty of being convicted. He got to eat a few real meals and wear a suit again for a few months during this trial, but once it was done, win or lose, he was headed right back to the crossbar motel. I wonder if the realization that he had spent his last day outside the prison wall, even after he won, was too much for him.

I’m surprised he was smart enough to figure out how to kill himself.

Part of the evidence from the other trial where he was convicted included video footage from his own home security system showing him holding a gun minutes before leaving then coming back after the murder, walking around holding the gun and the security system had a time & date log.

Oh well. Another Chad bites the dust.
