I thought of this yesterday… You see, sometimes it only looks like they are making a good impression on us but in fact they are only taking care of themselves. My ex offered to help me with something (I won’t explain), so I thought good. I said thanks. But after a moment, I realised that by doing said thing ‘for me’ she was actually only doing herself a favour. That’s when I got to thinking. Always question ‘what’s in it for them’, do that ALWAYS. Even if it looks like a splendid favour. There’s almost always more to a good gesture from a woman than meets the eye.
