So I saw the trailer for the new Bruce Lee film, Birth of the Dragon, and boy am I p~~~ed. Bruce Lee was THE greatest martial artist of our time. He embodied self discipline and self improvement. As a half German and half Chinese, he faced REAL discrimination on both sides (America as well as China), which he overcame and, in a sense, pioneered a Chinese American identity. He struggled to bring martial arts to the west, again, despite hostilities from both sides because he believed such division was petty. And then they s~~~ on this great man’s grave by releasing this garbage that depicts him as a disrespectful punk and that Wong Jack Man was a man that was gonna teach him a lesson (in all likely hood, he was a badass sent to put Bruce Lee in his place to keep him from teaching martial arts to westerners). They completely forgo Bruce Lee’s philosophical nature as well as his stance on martial arts being more of a true expression of self and a path to self actualization that isn’t limited to style, culture, or race.

Worst of all, this movie was based on the book by his former wife, Linda Lee Cadwell, and was released on her approval. This woman, sold out on her husband and shat on his grave with a book of her own and then did it again, because clearly she didn’t get enough money, with a s~~~ty movie. Linda (who doesn’t even deserve his last name), thine name is Judas.

The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll whisper "no."
