A quote about the folly of activism

I was told than an Alexander Schmemann said this quote (He was an Easter Orthodox theologian and priest)::
“The activist tries to save the world and leaves a trail of debris in his wake; the saint saves himself, and in the process rescues the whole world”.

I take it as MGTOW from a Christian perspective. In short, change begins with you becoming better.

Sounds right to me. Actions speak louder than words. I don’t vote or do any activism crap, it assumes government or other people will take care of you if you just complain loudly enough. I’d rather just do what I want despite how hard it is and then other people might do the same when they see how much I’m enjoying myself.

As a mgtow, I think this is a great attitude to have. If I try preaching mgtow to everyone I know, they will think I’m a madman. If I enjoy my life, maybe at least one person I know will notice it and think “he doesn’t need a woman to live a good life, so maybe I don’t either”.
