Yeah it wouldn’t be very practical to fly back and forth for a week every few months for a sex romp, but once I’m retired I planned on being out of the country in lower cost of living areas for months at a time…so in reality if I spent 1200 bucks round trip and stayed there for 6 months savings on food, entertainment, and the fact that I could be living near a tropical beach would more than cover the cost of travel. But don’t US citizens have to pay US tax where ever they are located? And the cost of living is not always lower in such areas. In my experience it is actually more expensive to live a western life style in such places. For example wine, cigars and cheese are about 3-4 times the western price in Thailand.

Do your reseach before hand, speak with others who have been there for the inside knowledge and then go for a couple of months to see if you like it. There is more to relocating than cheap pussy, you may have to learn a new language, the visa system may be a pain in the arse, the locals might be c~~~s, it may be dangerous, you may find it difficult to aclimatise to a different culture, there will likely be many things you miss from back home, the negatives are many so check it out before comiting yourself.

The math looks good, but the risks are real. If there isn’t a happy medium between court ordered poverty after year of cuckdom and the fast and loose world of random almost free ass then I’ll just choose to be alone.

Oh yeah…as I have more time and money to travel over the next 5-10 years I planned on a lot of my destinations being potential retirement places. A lot are places I’d like to visit at some point anyhow even if I had no intention of ever staying there for more than a week long vacation, so it should work out pretty well.

There would be some research to be done as far as affordability and which countries offer the most perks for foreign retirees as well. Some of these countries are quite friendly to foreign retirees as they know you bring a lot of money into the country, where as here in the US a lot of states just want to tax your pants off.

Exactly. Unless things change drastically, if all my income is long term capital gains paid on dividends, everything up to 36,900 dollars I will pay 0% taxes on. From 36,901 up to 406k, which is way more than I’d ever make off dividends in a year as I’d retire long before my nest egg got big enough to produce those kinds of gains, the rate is 15%. So if I made 70k-80k a year in dividends I’d pay an effective tax rate of around 8%. I’m hitting a 6% bracket in state income tax alone right now so paying 8% overall is a bargain.

The beauty is if I’m only living off 30k a year but my portfolio is averaging maybe 70k a year in returns and I reinvest the difference…while retired I’d be out saving the average working guy making 60k a year who was dumb enough to get married, buy a house, and hand his b~~~~ over to some woman.
