It was quite contrite that I took delight in the flight or fight experience

Seized, then freezed me, until this Eremite gained insight

Moved at the speed of light when really, I nearly remained stuck tight

One might, to those who are in plight, appear to remiss slight

However, if you sever the tether right, in-spite of the invite

There may be left a spark to ignite, despite the rejection of requite

Tonight, before sunlight, I need to be forthright and no longer play the white-knight

Rather, indite in detail, the pale of my lack of bite

Through a smite of internal terminal electrolyte
