Whoop-de-f~~~! Way to not be a total piece of s~~~.

FYI: This behavior is EXPECTED OF YOU.

It’s NEWSWORTHY that a “single mom” helped someome…

…because of how uncommon it is.

And what is the relevance of mentioning that she is a mother with 2 kids? How did this help her to effectively do the right thing? Also, notice how the media enabled her to be a victim by mentioning that her house was recently broken into. No mention of whether this 75 year old man is going to get a replacement chair which he will need. I’m sure the “hero” didn’t think of donating her money/gifts to the man to put towards a new chair.

Feminism isn't about equality with men, it's about leverage over men.

    Credit where credit is due.
Considering the normal behavior of a girl her age being a decent human being is a notable achievement, I even give bonus points because is not expected for women to behave as decent human beings never mind actually doing something.

This wont make me think better of marriage to any woman including her. (I will note the article surprisingly didn’t say single mom, but I still wouldn’t consider it either way). None the less I don’t see anything wrong with the level of reward she received, nor would I consider it her responsibility to replace the chair, that would be silly.

But the key difference between how they would want to hold it up and how I view it is collective standing,

This does nothing to make me hold women in general in better light.
What has happened is a particular woman has earned respect in my book, that does not extend beyond her or change the statistical realities of the world. But if a particular woman has done something worth noting and applauding, so be it I’m an egalitarian guy and she can have corresponding standing and respect commensurate to her achievements and actions.

Yes, actual human beings might be outliers in the bell shaped curve describing the behavior of homo sapiens, but they do exist. I am happy that this human (albeit female) arrived at that place and time.

She did a very good thing and deserves accolades for it.

But…. a 19 year old mother of toddlers. What a winner.

It does deserve praise, next thing you know, stop the presses, a 19 year old woman will pay the entire bill on a date (I can dream can’t I).

Hopefully, more women will follow her example.

Agree with you, not sure if she should have also gotten an honorary black belt though.

Same here, hoping against all odds, more females will follow her example.

It was a noble deed saving the man.

You and me both on the dreaming part 🙂

Thanks guys for the feed back

Good for her. Reminds me of the woman (a cub scout leader) who approached those two terrorists who murdered that British soldier in Woolwich.

Well done, but they are the exceptions that prove the rule.
