Celibacy- Transmuting Sexual energy is much different from repressing it. Transmuting requires much more time and spiritual growth. If you want to explode spiritually, then go to amazon and purchase any ebook by Omraam Mikhael Aivenov. Just search Omraam. I recommend you start with Love and Sexuality part 1

You don’t choose God, He chooses you. You’ll know 100% when or if that happens.

I don’t think you’re there yet. Live a bit, Saint Augustine was a rogue, a gambling hard drinking playboy, had an illegitimate son, mistress, misadventures. Then aged 31 he suddenly converted and was baptised. God spoke to him in a garden one day and he went on to be the greatest Christian philosopher of them all.

You can also follow the examples of goodness that Christ lived in the Gospel without being a Christian with a capital “C”.

I think it was Oscar Wilde who said “All saints have a past, and all sinners have a future”.

    Good luck.

You have received good advice in the posts above.

You are in a really great position as you are 18 so if you wish you have time to examine and learn from various approaches to developing your spiritual life, which you have stated as a goal. You need to be discerning and realise what is working best for you and then you can dedicate yourself to a particular approach for a definite period of time and then evaluate the result.

I was celibate for 3 years and I highly recommend celibacy. Retaining/ not wasting semen has benefits for a mans brain and body and also as MGTOW monk it means you bypass the trap that women are in these crazy modern times. Many of the great male geniuses in history were celibate. Also check out ‘The manipulated mans’ post on celibacy on these forums. The foods you eat are all part of this as certain foods are stimulating for sex life.

Imho as has already been said there is difference between a religious life (which may be dogmatic) and real spiritual development although of course they can overlap. Although you can choose to be part of a religious institution be aware that an institution is not God – God is all pervading. Religious institutions the world over can have good aspects and can also have many flaws and flawed narcissistic characters as any organisation corporate/governmental or otherwise in this world. You need to use your judgement and not ‘blindly’ believe or do what anyone tells you.

In my humble experience there is great truth in the scriptures of the world and like others here I point you in that direction. I was raised Christian and there is great wisdom in the Christian teachings – the Ten Commandments are an obvious example.

I also examined texts from the East and there are many similarities with Christian teachings although it may appear on the surface very different. Loving and worshiping God is a significant common element. There is only one God and my belief is his teachings have manifested in scriptures emanating from different parts of the world so that all people may know him.
From my experience so far and considering you are interested in celibacy you could consider examining the following:

    1. Christianity / the Bible.

    2. Taoism / the Tao Te Ching is a main text of Taoism (I do not regard it as scripture). Celibacy is a fundamental part of Taoist lifestyle for a man and is therefore instructional. Taoism is an ‘impersonal’ approach so it differs from Christianity and Vedic/Hindu approaches.

    3. Brahmacharya lifestyle for a man. Celibacy and vegetarianism are important part of this which originates from the Vedic texts of India. The Bhagavad Gita is a main Vedic text.

    4. You can also examine Buddhism, I found Buddhism to be incomplete and it wasn’t for me, nevertheless there are good practices within Buddhism.

Don’t get overwhelmed by anything take it easy you have a whole lifetime ahead of you – just take what works for you and keep learning on your journey. If you simply stay celibate you are already way ahead of the curve. I wish I had stayed celibate at 18.
Ultimately you are a soul on your own journey and you do not need labels or dogmas to define your life – you can discover your own path and I believe for all us it is a journey worth taking.

Background Info: 18, never had sex, TradCon parents, MGTOW of 9 months, in mild RedPill rage, minimalist, practicing Stoicism.

The thing here is is this what you really want? does this fall into your personal mission or no? if you want to go have sex then go ahead with it as you are doing by definition what you want but if you are fine then continue to live the life you want to live.

I want to accelerate my spiritual development as a man.

This is coming from the wrong angle as you should be wanting to only accept what is evidently true vs just magical beliefs. Does spirits align with the evidence or no is the question? you need to look into hard realities you might not be willing to accept if you are honest and if you are dishonest you are fine with belief using faith and sticking to using faith not evidence.

Now would evidence to the contrary on the spirit world convince you of there being no spirits or is it a faith based position which will never and can never change?

Whilst the idea of “worshiping” something is unappealing to me, I feel the added sense of purpose might be beneficial.

The idea of mgtow is that you create your own purpose and you do not find purpose in someone else or what someone else wants you to do. Your purpose does not come from society or a book but rather you and the following of your personal mission.

“Christians” using their “faith” to justify evils,

The problem with Christianity is the concept of faith itself which is not a method of knowledge but a path of self delusion.

You should not be using faith to draw conclusions but rather only draw them based on what is evidently true (what the evidence shows).

You will have to say i don’t know in some cases but it will be alot more honest then claiming you do know based on faith.

TradCons and likely a chance that I could have to deal additional with peer pressuring and shaming to “settle down”

The whole point of Christianity is to create further Christians which will fuel the con men and the lairs careers in the churches. They want you to settle down so you will have kids and drag them to church thereby forcing the bulls~~~ on them using the fact they are young to their advantage (adults who get taught the stuff in the bible will reject it as bulls~~~ but kids will accept it due to being kids).

basically a teenager not fapping sounds like a work of fiction. I’d also have to drop alcohol (my beloved), because it seems to be the downfall of all my attempts at bettering myself.

Christianity wants to control you and your sexual drive because it makes you a better slave for it.

Now with alcohol it really depends on if you actually want it or not? if you enjoy alcohol and you are still following your mission then go ahead and drink but if it interfers or becomes not enjoyable then drop it.

Just an east coast asshole who likes to curse, If you get offended by words like fuck, cunt, shit, piss, bitch or any racial slurs then you just scroll down.

    Nice post anonymousyam.

I really wish someone would have told me the truth when I was a kid instead of forcing their beliefs on me. I’ve spent a long time getting rid of it.

    Years wasted.

My earthly father who died in 1999 is the chosen
heavenly spirit to do the lords work for me.
So his words are the words of my God.
He believed in Jesus and so is a christian God.
He is still teaching through me, so did not die
self evident truth is a dead man cannot teach.
His spirit is alive in heaven hosted by Jesus.
Heaven is where your heart is.
    where Jesus should be.

Jesus hosts the spirits of the ones we love forever,
immortality can only be a spiritual endeavor.
all my words are true and void of any lies,
    unless you have evidence otherwise.

My heavenly father’s wisdom and moral
    guidance I trust.

One thing he always said about faith is
    the KISS rule.
    KISS= “KEEP IT SIMPLE SON”
    do not overthink religion.
    My father said he could
    condense the commandments
    into two rules for living
    in God’s kingdom.

    1. If you love everyone,
    you don’t hurt the ones
    you love. so covers all
    the commandments.

    2. If you respect everyone
you are golden. You only have
to disrespect one, not every one,
    to become a disrespectful person.

    can we agree humans are
    just one of Gods creatures?
    God created Adam and gave
    him dominance over all
    the creatures of the earth.

    It becomes self evident
    that if you fight for
    human rights, you are
    fighting for the right
to be ruled by a man.

    Men are not creatures
    but are spiritual beings.

    Jesus is a Man and
    is much more than
    a human being.

    Jesus is not a preacher
of his beliefs but a teacher
of the truth, and a fisher
of men. Men are created not
    birthed. Men are fished
    from the river of humanity.
    Every tribe of humans
    all 12 do create men.

Humans are tribal creatures that believe
in luck and other superstitions but
a man does not bet his life on superstition.
A man bets his life on the truth.

I respect your right to have your
own beliefs and pray they help
    you find happiness for above
all things that is what my
    father wanted for me.

    In my fathers spirit laughter
    comes easy so I consider
    this a triumph.

If this reply has enlightened you
give all the praise, honor and glory
to my heavenly father for that is what
    the bible says to do.
I will always be in debt to
him that created me for nothing
I could ever give back is enough
to repay him for the wisdom and
    continuing guidance he is
    still giving me.

I thank the lord in Jesus name
for giving me the most precious
gift of life itself, and although
it is not enough I give back the rest
of my life for his purpose not mine.
    I give this without reservation
    or undo conditions.

    Amen Brothers

I was bound to be misunderstood, and I laugh at those who misunderstand me. Kind mockery at the well intentioned, but unfettered cruelty towards those would be prison guards of my creative possibilities. This so as to learn as much from misunderstanding as from understanding. Taking pleasure in worthy opponents and making language fluid and flowing like a river yet pointed and precise as a dagger. Contradicts the socialistic purpose of language and makes for a wonderful linguistic dance, A verbal martial art with constant parries that hone the weapon that is the two edged sword of my mouth.

He believed in Jesus and so is a christian God.
He is still teaching through me, so did not die

    \
The problem is that father and son opinions are not exact so while you come from your father not everything is the same. You are not a mystic channel for the spirit of your father.

His spirit is alive in heaven hosted by Jesus.

    Based on what evidence?

One thing he always said about faith is
    the KISS rule.
    KISS= “KEEP IT SIMPLE SON”
    do not overthink religion.

Which shows how dishonest religion is and why you need faith to believe in it (not being based off evidence).

Of course you must keep it simple and not ask any serious questions or look into it to keep the delusion of faith as that is all faith is. The minute you overthink your religion you will realize it is complete bulls~~~ and head toward Atheism.

    You only have
to disrespect one, not every one,
    to become a disrespectful person.

Respect is something that is earned not given just for existing.

    can we agree humans are
    just one of Gods creatures?

No as you would have to show God as existing before we can claim that. Al we know right now is that humans are evolved primates who share a common ancestors with the rest of the apes and monkeys and all you can claim is that you believe that humans are one of what your concept of a God says creatures, as you cannot show it thereby you don’t know it.

So no i do not agree.

    Men are not creatures
    but are spiritual beings.

By which evidence do you have to assert this? if you cannot back this up then it is a worthless claim.

A man bets his life on the truth.

Men bet their lives on all sorts of fantasy bulls~~~ and different religions. Men have died for all sorts of religions.

I will always be in debt to
him that created me for nothing
I could ever give back is enough
to repay him for the wisdom and
    continuing guidance he is

Your dogma clearly makes you a slave.

Finally came back to check the forum. After reading through all of your replies several times I do have to thank you all. You’ve given me a lot to think about, including my stagnation as a person. Whilst I’ve made some progress as of recent, I feel stagnant and desire a positive change.

So for now achieving Tranquility, Financial Independence and Health shall be my life’s mission. As for celibacy from porn, I’ll try it. I’m not particularly motivated to have sex right now so I’ll just see what happens in the future.

Again, thank you everyone for the help.

I’m particularly religious myself. My religious beliefs are definitely hard to pin down, but if you’re going to be a Christian, I’d definitely choose to be a Protestant, rejecting all forms of church. Churches are f~~~ing cancer, especially with most modern Christians supporting libtard bulls~~~ such as feminism and the right wing Christians promoting traditionalism.

Culturally, I identify as a Christian. I participate in Christian holidays like Christmas and such, but my views on most things, including morality and s~~~ highly align with religions such as Buddhism.

Eastern religions especially, usually promote celibacy and solitary practices. Usually religions such as Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism, etc. promote a lot of these qualities.

Paganism is the same way. I’d stay out of mainstream paganism, such as Wicca though. Those types of “religions” are nothing more than cults for douchey hipster feminazis. Paganism such as Odinism is definitely more suited for MGTOW than Eclectic Wicca.

Atheism is ok and all, but it’s definitely not for me.
