When I was 14 years old I lived in the farm country of the Midwest. I just remembered an interesting story from way back then and now realize the lesson in it.

My neighbor was an old farmer. He owned hundreds of acres and was always busy. He had a dog that went everywhere with him. It was a lab and border collie mix. Seriously, this thing would ride in the tractor with him. They were inseparable.

Well, one night in the spring it was hit by a car and died in his arms in the ditch in front of my house. I remember he got in his tractor and worked all night by his headlights. And all day… He couldn’t hardly talk he was so torn up.

About a month later I asked him if was going to get another dog someday.

He said “No, I just don’t think I could ever deal with that kind of loss again”

Several years later I heard his wife had passed away and he remarried to a woman from his church.

I asked if he had a dog and was told he didn’t. Food for thought.

Yep, losing the dog was tougher than losing the wifey.

It was a lab and border collie mix.

Had border collie cross kelpie . Best dogs ever . Smart dogs

Big mistake people make with dogs is buying tin food and s~~~ . Even that dry food .

I use to cook all my dogs food .

Take a dog on all that s~~~ food and switch them to home cooked . Watch the difference .

Got a cattle dog not far from me and i know the c~~~ has a touch of dingo in him . He is funny as and just always does his own s~~~ but is a real smart c~~~ .

Owners cant keep him in and wont whare a collar .

When he goes out he is always home bang on time for his dinner .

Knew a bloke who had some dingos .

    He rescued animals

There was a couple he had that you could go near but he had to be with you .

There was one that was a real aggressive c~~~ that he was going on a journey to release it from where it came from . F~~~ that dog i got to see it and f~~~ .

True dingoes that are away from msn and never seen man you wont even know they are there .

ghen you have tourist places where they come and steal food and comre for food . Because idiots feed them people get bitten then dingoes are shot .

When i was young i remember a few dogs getting around wiyh a bit of dingo in them . It was like a little go no where fad . But must say those dogs were pretty friendly . They just have that want to rome in them .

Thats why farmers don’t like a slip of dingo in there dogs . Or wild dogs to for that fact . People dont realise there are pacs of wild dogs in some nationsl parks and surrounding areas.

THE PLANTATION HAS NOW TURNED INTO THE KILLING FIELDS . WOMAN ARE NOW ROLLING CAMBODIAN STYLE .
