I agree that infantry grunts are misused and it’s borderline crazy to sign up to be a possible bullet sponge.

Many places we have military presence, we don’t really need to be there. I agree.

But when the real s~~~ hits the fan, the infantry will save us all. The leaders are the problem, not the admirable men who protect us.

To be in the infantry is an awesome experience. The brotherhood and stuff really is worth it. Its really useful seriously. Provided you don’t end up dead overseas.

While there are no tuition or room & board costs for admitted cadets, the US Gov picks up ~$200,000.00 for a four year graduate. The expenses associated with attending the USMA is ~27,000.00, but can be covered by scholarships. Letter to parents of admitted USMA cadets

The real cost is that this idiot filled the admissions slot that another person could have filled.
