The West Point graduate, who last year posed in a picture holding a cap that had “Communism will win” written inside, is officially out of the U.S. Army with an other-than-honorable discharge.

Spenser Rapone rocked the military community last year after his social media posts were revealed, showing him wearing a Che Guevara shirt underneath his military uniform.

He is no longer part of the U.S. military after top brass at Fort Drum’s 10th Mountain Division accepted his resignation Monday after an earlier warning for “conduct unbecoming of an officer.” He’s leaving the military with an other-than-honorable discharge.

Well, he shouldn’t have been there to begin with.

This stinks of being pushed into a career he didn’t like by the parents, and he found a way to rebel out of it. You guys say he threw his life away, I say he found a roundabout way to finally take control of it.

Maybe he can do something he’s actually interested in now, hopefully he can get past his weird communist thing.

Someone please explain to me how this shiny turd rates the Combat Infantry Badge? The CIB is awarded for participation in ground combat a similar award is the Expert Infantry Badge EIB which is awards for “skills” related to infantry. So this clown is wearing the incorrect award/badge. Duffus.

Did a little looking, he was a ranger who served in Afghanistan before being accepted. So he really just threw away one hell of a career.

Perhaps. If you look at his uniform you’ll see that he has an Expert Infantry Badge, an Air Assault Badge, and Jump Wings. All of which are begotten after a difficult school that one voluntarily signs up for. Also he would have had to be either active duty, National Guard, or Reserves to qualify to go to those schools. Meaning he had already had a military career of some length BEFORE going to West Point. If you look down at his medals you’ll notice an Army Achievement Medal which is awarded after some act above and beyond regular duty assigned. He also has a Good Conduct Medal which is only awarded after three years of good conduct on active duty, reserve or national guard duty.

So the guy had already been in the Army and deployed at least once in a combat zone. Most likely he wanted to go to West Point rather than it being his parents idea.

No disrespect to the veterans, but that’s not a bad thing that he was discharged. The military is just another blue pill establishment that was designed for men to lose their life over pointless wars.

Wars that doesn’t benefit men. Coming home without limbs, PTSD, and whatnot. Look how many of our veterans that are homeless…

You wouldn’t understand without having done it. It’s not about the pay or patriotism.

It’s basically a right of passage.

WAR is human. We are violent. War is indispensable. It’s just a fact of life on this planet and will continue to be for many more centuries, possibly even beyond this hominid species and out in to space.

Once we stop fighting ourselves, we will still war on other species and animals on other worlds. War and violence is universal because the universe is indifferent, dangerous and malicious.

Not that we’re in the position where we need to fight a war, but if we were in that position, men who mock enlistment aren’t anything but cowards. The people in the service right now are volunteers! And there is always some bad guy to kill so we have plenty of work to do. Be glad its not you. They serve so you don’t have to be drafted. Men that I know, died so you didn’t have to live under Sharia law. If no one stands up and is willing to die fighting our enemies, THEY WILL come here and f~~~ up our whole way of life, that is guaranteed.
