Well, all it took was about 2 years since my last post…

    A Female "Doctor Who"

…and now it’s confirmed. Doctor 13 is a female, the actress Jolie Whittaker.

Honestly, I guess it was just a matter of time. Men cannot have a primarily male character in fiction anymore.

I discovered this watching Sleepy Hollow—men are only permitted to be leader-types if they are some kind of minority, otherwise your role is obedient little simp to the ALL powerful female!

    Makes me ill.

Gender bender all dicks go in the blender!

    Hey Society, F~~~ YOU!

Good to see MagaChris! Our predictions always come true because we have superior minds, like watching a bunch of spoiled bastard children do nothing but get in trouble.

One could guess this was coming after they made the Master a woman.

This is a work of fiction. As long as the actress and writers do not turn this into an insulting SJW soapbox preachfest, I could careless about this. I am indifferent on the matter.

After five decades and 12 actors, I can see the reasons to change the lead to an actress to do something fresh.

I draw the line at glorifying terrorists, justifying harming people over differing political views, declaring all peers and people that represent something that is disagreed with to be tyrannical bigoted monsters, like what Marvel Comics is doing with “Secret Empire”.

“Secret Empire” is an example of watching the collective mental breakdown of those within a company into a whiny bitchfest over the results of an election.

My first reaction was…meh. This has pretty much been on the cards for a while.

What i find funny is that Marvel Comics was a disaster when they f~~~ed around with the characters genders but the BBC think they know better.

The ratings are going to tank but hey ho. It’s just less time i will waste on mindless drivel and play more guitar/do other things instead.

The BBC is dead to me now. Doctor Who was the only thing i watched and that’s been s~~~e for the last 3 seasons anyway.

The BBC has been dead to me since the child scandals of that network.

Would you like to know something funny and twisted about the SJW Marvel Comics?

In the comics, Riri Williams (her hero name is, Ironheart, under the title Ironman) is 15 years old. But she is drawn and written like someone twice her age. That is sick.

It gets worse. The name Ironheart was already taken, by a Ironman Japanese porn parody titled “Ironheart”, which woman in the powersuit.

(Timestamp, 3:00 for the clean details.)

Clearly the lawyers and marketing at Marvel Comics have not been informed of this matter.

I am not a Dr Who follower, but I remember someone telling me that oly eleven Dr Who’s were written into the script, maybe the switch to twelve involved a rewrite of the character.

I’m sure that someone out there nows the deal, and can share some information from a fan-zene

The BBC Harboured Jimmy Saville for years. It was well known within those circles what he was getting up to.

I have fond memories of watching reruns of the 70s/80s Dr. Who on PBS. It was an entertaining show. One of my favorite characters was Adric because he could solve math problems quickly.

Now this TV series is eternally ruined. I just can’t imagine The Doctor having a sex change. How far will they go with this? Will they make the police call box pink? Who will be the next Doctor? Caitlyn Jenner? Chaz Bono?

The Doctor usually escaped danger by using his wits. I suppose the new Doctor, played by Jodie Whittaker, will use her seductive charms. She’ll also win arguments with feelings instead of logic.

"I saw that there comes a point, in the defeat of any man of virtue, when his own consent is needed for evil to win-and that no manner of injury done to him by others can succeed if he chooses to withhold his consent. I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ‘No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)

I have no problem with a female time lord. But give her , her own show.

Don’t make Thor a chick. Get a female Norse goddess her own comic.

Female ghost busters. Stupid. Start their own ghost agency.

As a dedicated Who fan with every released episode from the First through Seventh Doctor in my DVD collection .. I will not be viewing the New Who. This is getting out of hand. My collection has ended. I will continue to enjoy the first 26 seasons .. and actually cherish every moment of it; now, more than ever.

    This is the problem.

Missy in isolation was a good character….but i just couldn’t assoiate her character with The Master. It just doesn’t work and makes Missy a bit crap and jarring far to often when she was on screen.

It would have been far better to bring back The Rani, but what was done was obviously pandering to identity politics. The whole of the last season had so much crap shoehorned in there that did nothing to further the plot. The last season was the weakest i’ve seen in a long time.

I saw this today. The only Dr. Who I remember is this one, which ran on PBS here in the USA in the 1980s.

yeh – I’m afraid I was an avid Dr Who fan for many many years.. the last one with the gender-bender sidekick turned me off completely.

It wasn’t so much her gender-bending, but the whole script turned the doctor into a simp… which was difficult for the guy who acted Malcolm Tucker in ‘In the Loop’

I’m not going to bother with this one. That’s the end of it for me.
