“Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington filed a complaint with the IRS on September 7 against the Donald J. Trump Foundation, claiming that the private foundation violated its tax-exempt status by providing a private benefit to Trump through a contribution to a political committee established by Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi.”

So, I would hope that someone files a similar suit against the Clinton Foundation claiming that Hillary Clinton has received a private benefit from her foundation. The Trump foundation is likely worth millions, but the Clinton foundation is worth billions.

Violating your tax exempt status would mean that the donations are taxable income to the foundation, and that the donations are NOT tax deductible. That might sting a little bit for the 1%’ers contributing to those foundations.

Yeah, that one. But no one’s status would get pulled before the election, so it’s just a smear campaign. That said, I think Hillary has profited way more than Trump from her foundation. So if I were a right-wing organization I would file the exact same suit against her. I’m continually amazed at the stupidity of both parties.

Let me give you an example: Clinton’s commercial with Trump on the Letterman show talking about where all his products were made. If I was Trump, I’d do a rebuttal commercial explaining the reason for his products being made overseas. It’s called NAFTA and your asshole husband negotiated that deal. As a businessman you pushed me out of my own country. I’m the person who knows EXACTLY how I was forced out, so I’m the right person to renegotiate those parts out of the deal. Thank you Hillary for making my point for me!”

The fact that Clinton’s people didn’t think of that angle makes them idiots, and the only greater idiot is Trump for not figuring that out and beating her over the head with it.
