One thing I’ve noticed since understanding the concept of MGTOW is something in A Christmas Carol. Scrooge basically is a poor guy at first and falls head over heels for a woman and is all “I’ll love you forever”, etc.; yet once he become successful and stops paying attention to her as much she gets c~~~y about it and eventually leaves him after laying the guilt trip on him that “another idol has replaced her”. So she thinks she’s an idol that should be worshiped? To hell with that bulls~~~.
The Children of Doom... Doom's Children. They told my lord the way to the Mountain of Power. They told him to throw down his sword and return to the Earth... Ha! Time enough for the Earth in the grave.I seem to recall Scrooge foreclosed on her mortgage. This is not a way to keep that lovin’ feeling alive.
This recollection comes from the Disney animated cartoon, so it might not be all that faithful to the original text.
Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
I couldn’t find a reference to Scrouge evicting his girlfriend buy he did foreclose on a property of a man by the name of Eben.
As far as I could tell, she left him because he worked too hard. I believe that today it is more fashionable to work your husband to death and if he refuses to dump his lazy ass.
When I was young, 1960’s, men worked their asses off because women stayed home and there were no two income families. My mother would berate my father for working 12 hours a day because he didn’t spend his remaining hour with his kids.
Now, being “Ambitious” is one of the most desired traits that women want in men as advertised on their profiles on Match.com.
This may be because women left the home and the only respite from a life of toil is having a rich husband.
They can go f~~~ themselves.
For single men it pays to work less. Less stress, live longer, have control of your life.
Thanks feminism.
#icethemout; Remember Thomas Ball. He died for your children.
Dickens closed the story in a good way though. Scrooge became benevolent, for example, not by virtue of some man shaming c~~~, rather, by seeing his gravestone, as well as Tiny Tim dying due to lack of adequate health care (money), among others. I doubt Dickens was making a point but I find it revealing that the movie ends, not with Ebenezer falling for some sorry ass bitch and groveling at her feet, rather, he’s still SINGLE, HAPPY and able to help others via HIS wealth, as opposed to “clearing” it with some asswipe bitch’s CLAIM to his wealth.

Yeah that’s just the Disney version. She “releases” him from their old vow of wanting to be together. Music to most men’s ears.
