Is there some reference (like a dedicated website or section of a site) that can verify the differing laws about confirming paternity? For instance..is there a timeframe after the child is born?

As a precaution carry condoms but also carry a Ziploc bag in your pocket. Put used condoms in the ziploc bag and make sure the Ziploc bag stays in your pocket and comes home with you. You can throw it away in your own place.
