    Interesting. Sometimes the pay gap goes the other way. Want to know where? In descending order:

    9. Human Resources: 90% of the workers are women. No wonder. They just sit around and paint their nails all day and then give themselves raises.

    8. Kinesiology: I have no idea why they are paid more, unless you are counting the happy finish….

    7. Chemical Engineering: Clear case of overpaying for “diversity”. So chicks get more money to go into male dominated fields. Funny, I always hear that as soon as women enter those fields the pay goes down. Guess that was a lie.

    6. Media Producers: Makes sense. TV shows exist to get you to watch commercials. Women account for 80% of consumption, so advertisers really want women to watch. Who better to know how to produce a show for women than other women.

    5. Social work: Interesting. This is a female-dominated field. But unlike #7 there is no premium paid for “diversity” for men. I’m confused. I thought women were oppressed…. Oh well, on to

    4. Advertising: Here we go. Back to #6. Separate a woman from her money, and get her to spend her man’s money too. Makes perfect sense.

    3. Wholesale and Retail Buyers: Sensing a pattern here? Spend, spend, spend. Consume, consume, consume.

    2. Music: Yeah sorry, I have no explanation for this. There has to be one statistical oddball I suppose. Which brings us to

    1. Model: Really? Shocking! Another way to separate women from their money. And used to shame them into thinking they aren’t good enough or attractive enough. Make sure they really hate themselves and the only way to not hate yourself is to spend money on stupid products.

    So there you have it. Four of the top 6 are directly related to getting women to spend money. And proof that companies will actually pay more money to get women into male dominated fields, but not the other way around.

    Oh, and did you notice one other thing? Only chemical engineering is a field where something tangible is actually produced, and the only reason they are paid more is because they are a quota hire.

    My second job was in retail for the past two years (just quit). I saw multiple ‘buyers’ who had a requirement to manage a store for a year before they could be buyers, fail miserably at it, and disappear quickly. Was a good way to weed those out who couldn’t work, and didn’t understand that they need to see the actual place what they buy is being sold/understand the customers, before they start putting things in there.

    Was pretty entertaining, these candidates for buyers who came out of college with no idea how to work in the real world…

    No longer can we walk away, we must run. Remove the motive power.

    Jobs with a lot of women may have to pay more too to attract any candidates as a lot of women don’t want to work with other women either.

    Anything related to communication, society and social media is a Female to female to female cycle. Females say they need something that impacts jobs 9,6,5,4,3 and 2. Females then develop and deploy a “solution” to this perceived need. Females, and by association bluepills, are the target audience in this

    I used to work as a PT assistant. I can tell you women dominate the field. This along with most healthcare professions

    In my experience, I would say it is about 50/50 in regards to number of competent women within the field.
