53% of millenials will be homeless or working in the salt mines.

Doesn’t mean much to be a millionaire when gas is 50$ a gallon.

That means small house in the mountains, a 1976 Jeep, farm Land enough to feed 10 people, solar panels, a water supply, a dog, my guitar, a wall around my property and a rifle with s~~~ load of ammo.

Did you steal my diary? God damn

My recommendation? Dominican Republic, south, paraíso, pedernales, polo, those places land is beautiful and cheap as f~~~. With 50,000€ you can buy a s~~~ load of land, but they are starting to see the tourism potential and s~~~ ain’t gonna last.
    Paraíso

I had plans to work in some other place in Europe and make good money and then move there in 10 years.

Im not Muslim enough for Sweden, Ireland rejected me for a position even inferior to my hability, Spain is a low pay s~~~ hole.

Im taking the little money I have and moving back to the Caribbean.

To those following me, be careful, I just farted. Men those beans are killers.

I wish them all well on their way to riches. It may very well happen that people will find happiness. I want people to find their happiness and hope that my cautious approach is only an exercise in preparation and never needed, however, road not always smooth and even clear sailing ahead may face a random dark cloud

In my world I approach things today and tomorrow..
seeing a possible, at least temporary .. time that we may face on that yellow brick road to the emeralds and riches .. I have live through several Black Swan events

Today: .. when times are predictable, the road is quiet

buying a portable 2300 watt generator for AC/DC power
100 ft of 10 gauge extension cord to feed refrigerator
filling clean 55 gallon barrels with water for survival
keeping at least three months of minimal existence food
having a wood stove and enough firewood to keep warm
keeping a portable solar powered lith-ion battery pack
camp lanterns that will run for thirty days on 4 D cell
a functional hammock with fly/roof for outdoor sleeping
portable water filters and purification w extra buckets
‘miner style’ LED headlamp for hands-free night tasking
night vision, HF Radio set-up for worldwide CW contacts
1 ounce silver pieces and 1 gram gold pieces for barter
keeping the fuel, food, and water with wood stove ready

No need for warm in the Caribbean, water is an issue but it can be solved.

Live long and prosper my hermit palls.

Nearly 1-in-5 report that they they still rely on their parents for financial support

Living at home is a smart strategy if you intend to stay there until your parents die, will receive the home due to instructions within their will, and intend to sell it afterwards to pocket the money.

They expect to retire at 56, though won’t start saving for retirement until age 36

Good luck with this one and let me know who you make out. The Rule of 72 says that you are a loser and should pay another dollar to play the game again.

Everybody can be a millionaire … during a hyperinflation.

    “A loaf of bread, please.”
    “That will be 1.5 million.”
“There you are. Now I’m broke.”

Many will get left properties by their parents , whilst its hardly noble waiting or your parents to die to reach your goal.

As has been said entitled fools..

I’m a millennial – I’ve always thought the same. Call me entitled or w/e I have a great education and have taken steps daily to help make this a reality. I also have friends that are well on their way.

HOWEVER, since coming here I’ve begun to question WHY.

MAINLY it was to impress other people and make my dad proud.

Now I just don’t care about that and do what makes me happy.

Turns out, I need a LOT LESS to live the life I want.

I will certianly earn well over a million in my lifetime. At 27 I’m building a great career. – but now my end goal isn’t all about the money and the LIFESTYLE ‘we’re’ sold over the news and social media.

It will be about making time to do the things I actually enjoy.

Earning a million dollars, and saving a million dollars, is not the same thing.

Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.

Huh, as a millennial (25), I always thought of becoming a billionaire by 33.

    Oh well…

Let’s not bash the younger generation here. Petty bulls~~~.

There are as many delusional, lazy slobs in their 40’s and 50’s as their are in their 20’s and 30’s.

We are the same men we were 100 years ago. I’ve seen this type of thread here before and won’t hesitate to fight logical fallacies.

How many baby boomers are washed-out drug addict hippies?? How many of them have literally no retirement?

Don’t give me this s~~~ about young effeminate men raised by single women. I see plenty of smart young men ready to take life by the horns.

I also see a bunch of pathetic losers in their 60’s who can’t retire. How do you like them apples?

    LOL

Hell yes they will be. Their governments have no solution to speed up the already fast pace of inflation to pay for all that consumer debt they took on in the c~~~ up Gordon Brown masterminded to “solve” the financial crisis. This debt plus the welfare debt will make tramps millionaires within their lives unless they re-base the currency.

Will 53% of them be millionaires in today’s money? -yes of course and they will live in a happy violence free world where women achieve total equality in all things, take power and run the world like it should have been run all along. Pollution will vanish, cats will stop eating mice, all the poor will immigrate to the west and become western liberals and live happily ever after and no one will even say the word c~~~ again.

A woman is like fire -fun to play with, can warm you through and cook your food, needs constant feeding, can burn you and consume all you own

It goes like this for all men, regardless of generation.

Age 1-83: You work your ass off trying to stay afloat in a world that hates you.

Age 83: You get f~~~ing cancer and die, IF you made it this far.

    Any questions?

53%? I wonder what the gender breakdown of this poll is? I would not be surprised that the majority of this 53% are women.

Not a wise strategy in the era of clawback whenever mommy runs up too many final medical expenses. Parent/child marriage could easily fix that issue though.

I’m an 80’s brat. The last generation to play outside, with neighborhood kids. Unsupervised by mother hens, playdate crap.

I thought when I was getting out of high school, 1 million bucks is a piece of cake.

I’ve gotten saltier, am a scarred survivor at this point. 1 million bucks means nothing to me now if it means sacrificing my principles.

I could live happy in a 19′ foot trailer. Being an old f~~~ Wal Mart greeter.

Always have a hidden rainy day fund. Live comfortably to my standards. Putting as few dollars in 1% oligarchs pockets as possible.

To me, that would be a satisfying end to my travels in this corrupt age.

Ah, I knew you and I had something in common. I graduated high school in 1985. Had no idea where I’d be at this age and didn’t expect to live to be this age.

I don’t make much and don’t have much, but I live comfortable enough. I have a job, house, clothes, food, a truck and still have enough money to have a little fun.

Nearby where I live, someone recently moved a small shed onto some lots. The shed can’t be much bigger than my 10′ x 16′ shed where I keep my motorcycle and my lawnmower and that’s about all I can keep in there and still walk around a little bit. Someone lives in that shed. Talk about minimalist living except, because they live in that tiny “house”, they apparently have plenty of money left over for other stuff. Beside that shed they have two big boats, a couple of full size trucks and at least one car.

I believe most of us have more than we need to survive. I know I’m a spoiled American.

Millionaires are the new middle class, so I see where they are coming from, but they have no clue how life/reality actually works. A Brave New World, indeed, well done Aldous Huxley.

Every time I read one of your posts like this, I get scared that I’m going to be very cold one day because I haven’t made preparations.

However, if it’s the end of the world as we now know it, I’m too old to see the rebuilding of society and I may as well freeze to death anyway.

Can’t we just dig a big ass hole, down to the lava in Antarctica and claim it as MGTOWPIA? I want to be in charge of the pill boxes and beach defenses. Set up 50 cals and smoke the lesbo pirates that try to land there.
