    I suspect that the reason so many women demand 6 foot or over in dating apps is because even the “4 out of 10” girls get so many offers from thirsty men, that they can afford to demand things like 6 foot or over and/or 6 figure salary just as a means of filtering.

    I don’t think so.

    -I was a member of a student committee back in college and the chairman was a very short guy–as in, just a few inches taller than an average midget. He was the chairman of our committee because we the members (both males and females) all agreed that he will be the perfect person for the position–because of his character and not because of his height.

    -When I was 10/11 I accompanied my father to his place of work. At that time he was part of an “investigations team”. The leader of the team was one of the shortest people in the office.

    These MIGHT be exceptions but, based on my experiences, one will most likely be accepted as an authority figure based on his ability to carry along or influence others.
