I’m also not interested in their “just following orders” mentality (which didn’t save Nazis from the noose at Nuremberg).
There have been plenty of laws on the books that were seldom enforced, for example sodomy laws. Cops can look the other way if it is an unjust law. If they help the system abuse men, then they are as guilty as those that passed the laws, and the judges that pronounce sentence.
