By the way it sounds in the article, the wife wanted the divorce and they had two kids.

Of course, it’s twisted to sound like he wanted to avoid child support. This was this man’s second divorce, so he likely wanted to avoid alimony from what it sounds like to me.

Now that I looked more into it, apparently Indiana doesn’t HAVE alimony laws…but I can’t doubt there was something else happening there. The WIFE was initiating the divorce, so why can’t she “man up” and find a job to support her kids?

I think any guy that has been divorce raped has thought of doing just that. Also, we only hear her story. (Sarcasm) Oh my, look what the big bad man did. (End sarcasm) Really now, thoughts like that don’t just pop into a guys head one day when he’s watching the game. What did SHE do that drove him to such extreme action.

Exactly. The report makes it seem like he simply walked out the door one day on a whim when it’s blindingly obvious to anyone who cares to think that he had a plan.

He may have left his toothbrush and jacket behind, but he had at least enough cash on him to buy a plane ticket and some kind of ID to show to the ticket counter clerk. (While things are tighter post-911, you still needed some kind of ID to fly in 1993.) He also had enough money and/or connections to keep himself going and hidden wherever he initially flew to.

Then there’s the stolen identity, the crime he’s being charged with. He lived with the dead man’s father for some time. How did that happen? How long did they live together? Just how did he get that death certificate? Did the old man give it to him to help him?

There’s a lot about this story we’ll never learn.

Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.

I bet way more men have done this than we realise. Thanks to the web more stories come out. 23 yrs of going your own way. Hope he enjoyed it. Id rather live in a tent in the woods than be a slave to a hag and kids if shes turned them on you! Wonder how he lived?

A good friend of mine divorced when his only son was 8, she monkey branched up a richer guy.

She now 18 years later bribes the kid with new cars etc, he is not to speak to his dad.

Some women are so abusive to their children it’s not true.

Thats a shame. That kid missed out on a priceless expierence with an involved dad. Espiecially when the dad wants to be. They’re evil man.

Couple of things he did wrong were:

    1. After assuming the identity of the other man he stayed in the US. Personally, I would have moved out of the US to a country that does not have extradition to the US.

    2. Getting married again, basically also flagged him in the system when he went to get the marriage license.

Personally I do not understand why he got married again, his previous marriage was going to end so he disappeared, only to move to Florida and get married again. Total idiot, he had the perfect out to live the life free of any burdens on any financial obligations to his wife.

That is never the case, in fact the guy needs to pay and keep paying because she decided to be a stay at home mom instead of working.
