    All of the major UK retailers are bankrupt. None of them actually have any money. The whole country is nothing more than a colossal shell game.

    The government knows it but just keeps spinning the plates faster and faster.

    Me too, Ive been out of work since the end of November -trouble is I really don’t want another job -because it will the same slave bulls~~~ with crap handed out by manginas and tuna.

    I bought the education lie sold to me by my f~~~ing parents since day 1 and got a degreee -I have still been in and out of work more times than a lift (elevator) has been up and down.

    What a load of fcuking bulls~~~.

    What I want to do is build a log cabin in Cumbria maybe the borders, get heating and hot water from a wood burner or rocket stove.

    I can eat rabbits and fish which I kill-skinning a rabbit etc for the first time might not be easy but I’d get used to it.

    But i cant because the planning department would make me knock it down.

    If only this Country was larger where you could just vanish.

    I have been watching building Alaska and Alsaka off grid on quest.

    The Scottish Highlands & Islands Development Board used to have a scheme in which they practically gave away abandoned crofts.

    I know it sousnds a bit hiipt trippy and I don’t believe in god but I think what i have been through with this last fcuking s~~~hole I worked at and losing tehjob wa sreally someone trying to tell me make a major,major change while you still can (I’M 41 AND MY HEALTH ISNT BRILLIANT)

    Give THEM nothing! Starve the parasites. I predict staggering growth in the underground economy in 2018. More folks will realize they get squat for their taxes and so they start to look for ways to reduce them.

    I’ve got a first class honours degree in Business and Marketing. Have I used it? Have I f~~~! I make more money doing what I’m doing, than I would if I actually used my Degree.

    Workwise, you gotta have money to do some of those things Albs. If you could do a bit of Agency work that veers towards manufacturing (not working in food if you can help it), you could be on the right track. You see virtually no women in paper manufacturing. Zilch.

    The ONE thing this country has in its favour right now is humongous skills shortages. Things like Slittermen, Cuttermen are in HIGH demand, and there’s a fair few companies willing to take people on to fill the shortfalls. HGV/lgv driving…massive shortages. Where I work, we’re getting people retiring and nobody to fill the gaps. With current demographics, that’s only going to get worse.

    Log cabin wise, you’re probably better off in Scotland. Lots of land, cheaper housing, more remoteness. Cumbria is overpriced but it’s a lovely place to live.

    I agree with you to an extent. I actually got three lucky breaks using an agency. Other ones I’ve used in the past were complete s~~~…

    Depends how desperate you are for money.

Why do I want to stay here slaving away getting bent over in taxes just to fund a broken welfare state?
