I have been avoiding this Forum on purpose for a few months but it looks like I am surprised again. Where are all the personal insults, the “F~~~ you” and crap I see on MSN, YouTube and Facebook? Perhaps I need to look harder but so far, this is refreshing. I was a Democrat from 1982-1999 and still see myself as a Jeffersonian Liberal (which today would be a moderate). Unfortunately, the Democrats abandoned us for the Progressives and I wound up voting for Ralph Nader 3 times and then Gary Johnson. Last November, I voted Donald Trump as he certainly had more appeal for the moderate/independent than Hillary Clinton. I am also Pro-Constitution (especially the 1st and 2nd Amendments), a veteran and against international trade agreements that take away American jobs. I am for the working man, which I don’t think either party gives two s~~~s about anymore. I suspected MGTOW would not be a friend to the far left with its feminists/SJW’s and at looks like I was correct. I never left the Democrat Party, they left me. Elections are not won by the far left or the far right, they are won from the middle/independent and that is why we now have a President Trump. He may not walk on water but I still think he was a far better choice than Hillary Clinton.

If your in the political corner, you’re bound to come across many of my posts. I’m kind of the political guy around here, so anything that goes on that you’re not sure about, just ask. I’m usually right about this stuff. Policy is the easy part, it’s people that are difficult.

Sparky you are right on. The Demon-crats of the Kennedy years are LONG gone. And there is a reason. The extreme left has co-opted traditional democrats and since their agenda is “progressive” they MUST by definition always ALWAYS be moving the cursor to the left; and further left. In order to survive the “revolution” can never stop it must go on and on and on. That is why when you corner on of these people and ask; “what is the end game for your movement”? What does your utopia look like? They can never answer because THEY DON’T know and they don’t care…all that matters is the constant never-ending progressive revolution.

Which would explain why they keep going so far as too let kids use bathrooms of the opposite sex. And saying they have a right to do so. Anybody that says there is 54 genders, is not mentally ok.

Hey Sparky, Libertarian here, voted Johnson and I am a big Ron Paul fan (voted for him in GOP primaries twice and even penciled him in for President twice) Both of the two big parties seem pretty well done for as far as expecting any change from who will come out of them. And both do their best to push candidates who would try to do so to the side. 2011 GOP was rigged against Paul, 2016 DNC was rigged against Sanders. I really see no reason to vote for a Republican or Democrat anymore, nothing much changes…This can especially be seen foreign policy wise as presidents SUPPOSEDLY have a big amount of say in this department, but nope, not much ever changes…

Trump is the first guy to make it even though his own party was trying to do him in (maybe not to the extent that Paul and Sanders were done in though). Hopefully he is able to make some changes… He certainly is/was the much better option over Clinton.

Jeffersonian Liberalism is a philosophy, we are still here but we are homeless. That is why I call myself a Moderate. I even tried the New Whig party but the Whig Mayor of Philadelphia also p~~~ed me off with his anti-gun agenda. That is not what the original Whigs were about and not what Thomas Jefferson was about. Do not count Jeffersonian Liberalism out but the parties will never understand how we vote. I am proud to be a follower of Thomas Jefferson but it has nothing to do with the modern regressive Democrat. He started the Democrat Party but both parties have lost their roots. The only hope of either came with President Donald J Trump.
