The MGTOW label was quite funny. From what I read hardly anyone showed up for their meeting, so they can up with a term men going their own way. That all what they had besides their stupid goals. Instill mascunity in men, but you see it’s very difficult considering a large amount of men were raised by single mothers. Back then in early 2002 men weren’t getting throw under the bus as much as it now. With the 2008 recession it’s just gotten worse. The orginal MGTOW manefesto was flawed.

1. instilling masculinity in men by:

Demanding respect for men
Serving as good male role models
Living independent lives
Fighting chivalry

2. instilling femininity in women

We will hold women equally accountable to men and ignore and shun those who refuse to take any responsibility for their own circumstances. Thus we induce women to take a complementary position with men instead of a competitive position as is now the case.

Nurturing
Supportive
Responsibility
Respectfulness
Honesty

3. Limited government

In order to be independent of society, and live within it, while at the same time work for limiting governmental influence upon our daily lives, men will:

Go Their Own Way
Support other men
Legally reduce any taxpaying
Truthfully act out any duties in accordance with their conscience
Use any rights to the benefit of other men as well as themselves

These people had no real solutions for their goals. Nobody right now have strategies for a limited government because it’s growing like crazy. Clearly these so called founders are bunch of horse s~~~. I was going my own way back in 1986. This was before I heard of men’s rights or feminism.

It’s funny how many MEN left AFVM, but hey they will gladly take a loss because they get quite a few women. They think women are their shields and they think they are winning.
Men not marrying or even having relationships make women bitchy, cry and even ask men why we aren’t marrying.

At the first AFVM almost half of people were women and according to sandman it seems they were more interested in finding a man to have a relationship than actually caring about men’s issues.

I remember reading an article on AFVM where an AFVM male member ended up committing suicide when he got divorce again. We MGTOW aren’t stupid we are saving lives, we will never support marriage.

I can’t speak for other countries, but in Canada the laws and justice do not treat women as second class citizens. In fact, the laws make them special. One look at some Family Law court cases makes this very apparent. We also have human rights commissions that don’t exist for a white man – they are in place for women and other minorities. Our charter of rights and freedoms also makes it legal to discriminate against a white male.

This clearly isn’t just and equal for men, yet the feminists are still claiming that women are second class citizens. It’s completely irrational.

Let’s also not forget that women don’t want to be equal. Peruse a dating site and there are common traits amongst single women: they want chivalry, they want to be treated special, they want a guy who knows how to be romantic and treat a lady right, they want a guy that is not judgemental (yet she will judge him constantly), they want an outdated traditional construct called marriage, and they identify as traditionalists in regards to what men do – not what they do. There’s nothing equal about what women want.

This is a red herring intended to deflect. If she was genuinely concerned about boys, then she would discuss the aforementioned issues about males. I will also note that the comment serves women. Women want men to be vulnerable, as it empowers women in relationships.

I don’t know where you live, but I can tell you here in Seattle, practically the epicenter of feminism and matriarchy, nobody gets arrested just for asking women out. We get laughed at, shamed, and shunned, but never arrested.

I could be wrong, but if so, please provide a credible link.

I know a number of current and former police and I can assure you, they’re not arresting anyone for asking someone out for coffee.

I also know a number of PUAs, have even counted myself among them to some degree(more like I just pick and choose techniques that are helpful for me) and I’ve never heard of any of them being arrested just for asking someone out. And some of them regularly use way bolder approaches than this guy.

I understand where you’re coming from, but anywhere outside of India, middle east, and similar repressed cultures, this isn’t an issue.

There is nothing to look at and be proud of. Patriotism is the brother of chivalry. It is not respectable or noble, it is stupid. Man seeks to sacrifice, but if you sacrifice yourself for evil you are not somehow doing something good.

True. The veterans, men of the military, etc, are all just enforcers of the government/state and their demands. They just go along with the program.
