I shall keep my eye on Mr Trump. He reminds me of our London Mayor Boris Johnson. Same hair style also ☺

in forum Political CornerWhy Trump Is In Front And Why He Can Stay There.
Read this article for the mental self defense tips if nothing else — never mind who you want to win the election; that’s icing on the cake.
Scott Adams (Dilbert’s cartoonist) explains how Donald Trump got in front and why he just might win. “[…] if you are not familiar with the dozens of methods of persuasion that are science-tested, there’s a good chance someone is using those techniques against you. […] When Trump sets an “anchor” in your mind, it is never random. And it seems to work every time.”

16 years of Trump / Cruz would be awesome. I would relish watching the Libtard rabble grovel in submission and cringed loathing as they are relegated to the status of the Red Coat Commie scum that they truly are. We could deport those disloyal bastards with the illegals….

I hope Trump is serious and I think he is. It would be awesome to see a Trump/Cruz ticket with 8 years of Trump followed by 8 years of Cruz. This would have the double bonus of causing 1/2 the political class stroking out at just the thought of it.

Trump is no where near “derailing”. I like Rand, but the fact is he is weak. He should have stood up a long time ago and attacked “PC”…. but he didn’t. The GOP has no one to blame but themselves for Trumps success and popularity. I don’t want politicians who I feel I have to twist their arm to get them to stand up and say or do anything right. Rand’s PR stunt getting vaccinated and a slew of other “PC compliance” crap sickens me.
“If you are young and not liberal, then you have no heart; but if you are old and not conservative, then you have no brain.” When I was younger I was “pro choice”, but now i’m 45 I am solidly pro-life at conception. Trump like all of us has thought and learned over the years… and has changed his opinions on many topics. None of us are born with a “platform”, and then die holding the same views. Learning and growing is what life is about. Reagan was once a Democrat too.
It’s standard cordiality in big business to donate to politicians and charities etc. Rand’s assertions of “buying people” are way over blown. Trump admits ALL of this- his honesty setting him apart ! And Rand is one to talk taking money from the Freemason Koch Brothers…. ?
American’s who are fed up with the BS and want honest candidates who won’t cave to “PC” are on the Trump Train 2016. Ted Cruz and Ben Carson have been very wise in speaking favorably of Trump. Americans are sick of “PC”, career politicians, and Rino games. As for myself I will be voting TRUMP 2016 ! As things currently stand.

LMAO at those photos (including the plane). Hillary or Trump? What a choice… if it comes to that, the US might have to de-federalise and become independent states… “The US? No senor, this is Illinois, you’re thinking of somewhere else.” What bothers me is how Hillary would use the military to show the rest of the world she is “just as tough as a man”. We’re already on the brink with Putin because of insane and pointless posturing by both sides, dark times ahead I fear.
There is a chance of a running gag developing where Trump would donate to Hillary’s campaign, in order to control her if she won the general election.

Trump sucks. I voted Libertarian last election, and plan to do so again if I bother voting at all. I have no real interest in voting but the general peon public makes a big deal about it, so I guess if I’m roped into it I will do so. All MGTOWs should be voting Libertarian. Gary Johnson says he is running again in 2016. Don’t know who he is or why he’s better than the 2 party candidates? Well then, you prove flightspace right and you’re part of the reason this country is the mess it is now. However IF Gary Johnson did somehow get elected, either the elites would rig the results otherwise, try to buy him off, or outright kill him. But at least we should force them to do those things instead of being stupid sheep and taking a “choice” between Trump and Hillary or whatever garbage candidates they’re going to give us again.
Gary Johnson is like Ron Paul minuses some of the baggage Ron picked up when he was in and out of government (see the newsletters), that is replaces with experience as a governor.
And speaking of the Ron Paul, Donald Trump mocked Ron’s son Rand, and told him to quit the race:
Bring up Trump’s past with the Democrats and call his connects to the GOP in question and he will go off on you. I am curious to see how long the Trump express goes before it derails.

Fact of the matter is that the congressional leadership said they were going to do certain things and they flat out lied and are attacking the people who put them in power. The base now realizes just how badly leadership has been lying and for how long and feel as though we are currently under one party rule right now.
Love or hate Trump, he is forcing questions asked that they would prefer be left alone and is flushing out the rats. The best part is it is happening early so this show will be going on for a while. The dems have a ton of their own problems, but there is a full on civil war going on right now with the republican party and Trump has tapped into it.

The key to understanding Trump’s support right now doesn’t have much to do with Trump himself. It has to do with the complete and utter betrayal by the Republican leadership. They were given a landslide victory and were in a rush to surrender before the cavalry could arrive at the end of last year. Now they are battling the cavalry. The support for Trump primarily started with the “shut down the border” comments he made. Since he stepped in the ring he is flushing out traitorous RINO’s. The more they attack him at this point, the stronger he will become if only so that the Republican base can tell the leadership “No, f~~~ you back”.
Something like 25% of the voters are registered Republican. How many of them care about who is a RINO or not?
http://www.gallup.com/poll/166763/record-high-americans-identify-independents.aspx
So, the GOP base can go on a purity campaign to make sure they get “Real Republicans” who stand for their issues, and then during presidential elections, proceed to get slaughtered. There is a problem of a bubble going on where the true GOP partisans are increasingly getting detached from reality. I would also question how many of the 25% registered Republicans are actually interested in purging the GOP of RINOs. Say it is most of them, then only about 20% of voters care about this purity.
If you want to know why the GOP leadership is acting like it does, and it may tick off the hardcore conservative base, is that it is seeing the GOP’s days are number unless they do something different. This is why there was a push to try to target Hispanic voters and win over a decent number of them.

By supporting the lesser of two evils, you’re still supporting evil The only guy who’s not evil is Rand IMO
He wants to do away with the capital gains tax…that means super rich will pay practically NO taxes. Rich people aren’t punching a clock and collecting payroll and paying payroll rates like us middle classers…they make all their money off capital gains. I don’t think its fair some guy with millions/billions in the stock market can collect six/seven+ figures worth of dividends every year and pay 0% taxes on it while some recent college grad working a 40k a year entry level job trying to get his career going is going to be paying 20-30%…that is complete bulls~~~. Now I’m not one of those socialist guys who want to see the rich get soaked, but I also think the richest paying the lowest tax rates is pretty f~~~ed up policy. Example…Warren Buffet was complaining a few years back he was paying a 17% effective tax rate while his secretary was paying around 32%. He makes millions/billions a year…his secretary probably not even 100k. Eliminating the capital gains tax means he’d be paying closer to 0% while his secretary would be forking over 1/3 still. Rand, and any republican who wants to remove capital gains, which is most of them, wants practically no taxes on the rich while keeping middle class rates pretty close to where they are, and democrats just want to tax the f~~~ out of everyone. So yeah…at that point…I’d still consider it voting for the lesser of two evils.
You can either have private sector masters or public sector masters. There’s always going to be the “1%”. I’d rather have a huge private sector with low unemployment as opposed to a huge public sector with the only employment being paid for by tax dollars stolen from the middle and lower classes.
I could care less if billionaires get out of paying taxes. Taxes are f~~~ing wasted by the government on stupid bulls~~~. They are still running a deficit. I’d rather have these billionaire businessmen free to expand their evil corporations and create more jobs on American soil.
I as a peon in this country would prefer to have steady employment and a wage that I can use to pay my expenses and have something left over to save for retirement. The smaller the government the better. Keep those bastards out of our lives.

Just remember how everyone 7 years ago though that Obama was a breath of fresh air and how he’s going to lead and clean up the Washington… and what came out of that. Now everyone is mesmerized with Trump the same way. Don’t be so quick to jump on Trump’ bandwagon.
He’s good friend with Clintons and have been supporting democratic causes most of his lifeproud carrier of the 'why?' chromosome

Trump would have been a great president… if you are a multinational corp, billionaire or defence industry – then Trump is your guy. But he won’t be. He’s in it just so Hitlary is able to win against the GOP
And a democrat would be a great president if your a jackass with a six figure student debt, single mom, a welfare leech, an illegal alien, or preferably a combo of those options. I just end up voting for the guy that is going to f~~~ me less…which generally amounts to who plans on taxing me less and who is more pro gun.
If that is true, then count me as a vote for a Democrat, because I am a jackass with a five figure student loan debt. I am also a welfare leech apparently.

I am out of politics. Considering how little pull I have, it doesn’t matter who I support. And with the case of Trump, how do I support him? Am I supposed to send him money? Am I supposed to get a Trump bumper sticker on my car? Am I supposed to spend my own money to have pro-Trump Meetups where I am? Maybe I can go around putting Pro-Trump material on laundromats, that I spent my own money on.
I am not even a registered Republican now, so I can’t even vote for him in the primary. And, after registered Republican and doing all of the above for Ron Paul in 2008, I am not doing it again (I know one guy who got me into Ron Paul 2008, who didn’t even bother to register Republican and vote for him in the primary, like I did). In short, my “support” of any candidate is an immense waste of time on my part, and I consider getting involved in politics to be Blue Pill. If the Men’s Rights Movement has shown folly in the area of trying to be politics, and that is closer to issues that are important to me, how much less of value is my wasting of time on politics?
Hey, maybe if he loses the GOP primary process and goes third-party you can end up supporting him then. It will end up repeating 1992 again that got Bill Clinton in the White House by diverting votes away from the GOP’s candidate.

I half like him for the reasons stated in the earlier posts. I am half afraid he is a fellow traveler who is running interference for the Clintons, a Ross Perot spoiler in other words.
There are others who are plain spoken too, and they have no Clinton tar on them. Sen. Cruz for one example. I like him better than Trump.
It’s early days yet. The election is well over a year away. Much can happen between now and then.
