My reply is only to do with the last part. I noticed that for the last year Trump is like a rockstar with politics and with rallies. Not even since Reagan was something like this possible with the introduction of social media reality television and cheap and easy money good salesman like Donald Trump and other guys like him do very well. Can you get mad at somebody for doing well for using the tax code against the IRS I mean come on dude really? How can you be mad at a guy for using the IRS tax code against them. Why are people cheering for him even more back in the nineties he would have been more of a rockstar

Oh the Humanity is right! I can’t even imagine having to listen to her until she gets impeached. I know most of us have sworn off politics and religion but I find this whole thing fascinating and I live through Watergate so I enjoy political intrigue always will. I know we’re not supposed to care but there may be a partial chance that’s some of us can catch a break if the next four years is filled with Donald Trump rather than crooked Hillary.

I watched that speech as well. Mrs. Trump gave a very good, heartfelt speech.

What people maybe are missing is where the speech was held out. The speech was held out in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. This was close to Valley Forge, Pennsylvania where Donald Trump gave a speech on last Tuesday (Nov 1st). Donald Trump also gave a speech nearby these locations a few weeks ago.

In all of Donald Trump’s rallies in those areas, each rally pulled in tens of thousands of people. I am not sure the head count for Melania Trump, but I am sure it is high.

These areas are next to, or within the Philadelphia metro-area.

What the Trump team is doing is absolutely brilliant. This could be one of the most intelligent, insightful political moves in American history.

In 2012, the rigged election results showed no votes for Romney in or around Philadelphia. But, holding these rallies, if these election rigging happens there again, the Trump team can prove there is rigging. The Trump Team can point to the tens of thousands of people that came to the Trump rallies as prove their votes were not counted.

This is why Trump is doing these large rallies across the nation in otherwise leftist cities. With him pulling tens of thousands of people in each rally. By doing so, if the election is rigged in those areas with little or no Trump votes. Trump can point to his rallies as part of the proof of election rigging.

Like in the old Wendy’s commercials, “Where’s the beef?” With these rallies, Trump can ask, “Where’s the voters?”

Labeling someone a hypocrite does several things that you probably don’t intend. A label is a personal attack. A person who is labeled isn’t interested in the argument in question any more, they are only interested in self defense or attack. I have no doubt that your brother wasn’t even thinking about whether or not his statement was hypocritical or not. It also invites them to return a label on you, which just multiplies the problem. You quickly get to a point where you aren’t interested in getting to the truth anymore, just about saving face and ‘winning’.

Along the same lines, don’t react to labels/insults. When your brother calls Trump supporters as idiots, translate that to ‘Trump supporters have idiotic reasons for supporting Trump’. If that’s not true then either ignore or counter that. IMO, that’s absolutely true, as there are a lot of stupid reasons to support Trump that people believe. Be willing to accept that. You cannot expect your brother to accept what you say as truth if you cannot to do the same.

Discussions on politics and religion always go ugly because people make it personal and refuse to accept the possibility that they may be wrong, or at least that they don’t have an answer for everything. You can’t do much about how the other guy is behaving, but you can control your own behavior. I find that people will tend to model your behavior when they see the value it and no that they can trust you not to turn it into a personal attack.

Or…you can just walk away or to continue the frustration.
