Tonight I collected on my “free dinner” from a friend for calling a Trump win weeks ago. We had a nice chat. Afterwards, I went to get a coffee and piece of chocolate for dessert on my way home.
I entered the coffee shop with an attractive female (by chance) who was just ahead of me in line. She ordered, and when she paid, the progressive Clinton supporter behind the counter (loud tall gay white male) said “please swipe your card….. and while you’re waiting, you can reflect on our current political situation”. — projecting this cataclysmic devastation onto someone ordering a hot tea.
I couldn’t f~~~ing believe my ears. Just trying to goad CUSTOMERS into his f~~~ing political drama in a coffee shop.

A friend of mine who knows more about such things as stocks and the market actually eased my fears today. He told me that the markets always dip when we get a new prez. It’s more of a side effect than a reason to worry. Ironically, I checked my little stocks. A- OK with a 1% raise in value by the end of the session. She’s just mad that her candidate got Trumped.
As far as facebook, I use it so that the few friends I have can at least shoot me a message. Other than that, no.

After coming home from the polling station where I worked, I came straight home to watch what was going on in the election. Not once did I see Trump behind since turning on the TV. I had a blank map I clicked the states when they were called; still not quite finished. When they called the big important states, I screamed YEAH and loudly clapped. After the west coast got called which put Hillary back in line. I was excited and more confident when Wisconsin got called because it’s now a flipped state which was needed. There was a time I got impatient because they didn’t call any state for a while and with what’s left still could of gotten Hillary elected, but I held my confidence. When Pennsylvania called and it put Trump over the finish line, I jump up off my computer chair and screamed YEAH, clapped hard, woke my dad up to tell him Trump won, texted my mother and deadbeat so-called best friend and briefly talked to her. Then I got my bottle of Riesling out and chugged myself into getting dizzy drunk while listening to Trump’s victory speech. The House went Republican majority again and the Senate is now Republican majority. Life was great after a long hard day at the polls!
I tried to get some sleep, which after that day/night I so deserved to sleep in. I didn’t get any sleep because a service man around here ran a chainsaw all morning, keeping me awake. So I worked the polls during the day, watched the election at night, partied after Trump won, and spent Wednesday recovering from it!
I predict allot of political hack bums are gonna go in the garbage trumpster and off to the dump of hypocrisy, they should be stripped of their ill gotten wealth first and that cash be put back in the general fund.

Remember the tantrum the Republicans threw when Trump was nominated over their little creature Ted Cruz? Remember how they kept trying to tell us: “Only Ted Cruz is electable,” and Trump was not? Remember how they tried to stab the Trump campaign in the back to pander to the media for their own benefit? Well guess what, Ted Cruz was NOT electable. There is no way in hell he could have beat Hillary. But it turns out that, surprise surprise, Trump actually was.
That’s the thing about democracy: it turns out sometimes The People really are smarter than the political machines that pretend to speak for them or the corporate media that presumes to speak to them.

Not that I have much hope for it, but I’d personally like to see large sections, if not all, of the Communications Act of 1996 repealed. I know the republicans in general wouldn’t ever have had the b~~~~ to ram that up corporate media’s ass, but Trump just might.
