I joined several weeks ago and felt it was time to put in an introduction after reading through the forums and listening to the stories on the wall which led to many YouTube videos. I had a wonderful father growing up, unfortunately my mother walked all over him and spent money like you can imagine. Unfortunately, my father developed a disease called Huntingtons disease and I moved back in with them to help take care of him and to keep my parents from killing each other, if you know anything about Huntingtons you understand what I am talking about. My father and I had long talks and he confided in me that if not for my sister and I, he would never have married. He often talked about suicide, another common trait of Huntingtons , and one I would later fear for myself. My mother continued her spending ways and once came to me about her credit card debt and was afraid to tell my father. Not wanting her telling my father either, fearing he would hurt himself , so like a blue piled idiot I paid it for her with the stipulation that she never get a credit card again. It was horrible watching my father waste away, hate that f~~~ing disease. When he died I remembered his words and the next ten years included working hard and playing hard but kept pushing off the inevitable. I dated but tried to avoid relationships, my mother never changed and blew threw the large sum of money my dad left her through credit card debt. 40 came around and I finally got tested, despite constantly hearing stories of people my own age committing suicide the day after getting their results. Would I feel the same? I kept hearing my father tell me ” you don’t have this disease, go get your results” while walking down that hall. He was right. I soon felt that maybe I do want a family, settle down with a nice girl now that I don’t have this monkey on my back. Shortly after I met this beautiful teacher who was also a fantastic author, however something felt off, she was divorced but my dog never really seemed to take to her ( always trust your dogs instincts). When I told my sister I was breaking up she blew up at me saying I was no better than the man that raped her said the lesbian who has been married twice ( what a hypocrite). “Bulls~~~!” I said, and what followed was my realization about women and red pill moment and it was that night I found you amazing men after doing a search on the Internet. I had no idea of MGTOW. My apologizes for being long winded.

This is a common theme that red pillers share in their experience. If no from an ex-wife, then from a close friend or family member. If you aren’t blue pill, the you are the antithesis of everything that they are and represent. Therefore, a threat if not a really icky c~~~a pooty doodoo person.

You dodged two bullets and you were a great son to your father. Its rather shameful that your sister would say such a hateful comment. Not to shocking however, when a never married 30+ year old man is around women including family. It shows your a free man, and a free slave makes all women scared.

Welcome! I am glad you came out the other side of all that suffering intact.

BTW, I always trust my dog’s instincts about people too. So far the dog is a better judge of human character than I am.
