I worked in a jail for 5 years and every female employee that I was hired with was eventually fired for having inappropriate relationships with inmates. One was having sex in a cleaning closet while other inmates were look outs. In two cases the female employees, after being fired, married inmates once they were released. I have never understood this idea. That you would put your career, your pension, your reputation on the line for the dirt bags you were supposed to be working to make sure were secure in the facility. Inmates have nothing better to do all day then to sit around figuring out ways to get around the rules and regulations of the facility. Figuring how to “pull one over” on the officers that worked around them! Something you were never supposed to do is to bring things in for inmates. Something seemingly innocent like bringing in a newspaper or candy to inmates and suddenly your being asked to bring in drugs or cell phones or other contraband, because you do it once for an inmate, your all done. You have two choices, you can continue to bring in items they ask for in fear of them turning you into the staff of the facility or you turn yourself in. Either way you chance losing your job! I just don’t get it. Especially in this case. I have to assume that this fool knew the reason these men were in prison. Why would she chance getting involved with people such as this!! Perhaps she was just looking for attention!

There’s no rational thought involved; rather, they are attracted thru their emotions. The bad boy persona gives them a tingle and they’re drawn to it.

I once knew a woman prison guard who ended up f~~~ing, having kids with, and marrying a former inmate. Of course, this guy was in and out of jail all of his life, including youth detention centers, and is back there again. They are divorced, and she has two kids with him, who no longer have an active father.

She was a very attractive woman too. It makes no sense whatsoever. Trying to understand it is like trying to smell the color 9.  Such is the nature of women.

In your time working at a prison did you ever see the tattoo  LLOL? It stands for “Ladies Love Out Laws” and it is true. There is a certain type of woman, usually the “Good Girl” who is drawn to the excitement of the Bad Boy image. Much like the opposite,….men who are drawn to the innocence of the “Catholic Schoolgirl” image,…or the “Sexy Librarian”

I would hazard a guess that more female cops end up dating exe cons than dating attorneys and judges….perhaps it is a ying and yang kind of thing? Men tend to lean towards “wholesome” while women tend towards “Exciting” “Dangerous” etc.
