As for White Knights, defending females gives them a sense of purpose, power, moral authority and meaning… and I suspect those rewards would be diminished by actually GETTING the girl which is why they never do. But I’m clearly no psychologist.

I mean let’s be honest, all that a woman has to do is to say “yes” and someone will definitely hump her. What about men? Dates, paying for Dinner, somehow managing not to run after she just told you that she got 8 cats, putting up with her emotional bulls~~~ day in day out, eating the food she cooked even though it tastes really bad.
