My experience with MGTOW is really short, in fact, i’m here so i can learn more about it, since it looks utterly interesting. In december of last year, my girlfriend has made a mistake with her contraceptive pills and got pregnant. We told our families (actually i told our families as she was too afraid to tell her parents… You know, i had to be the man) and we planned to marry. I already had my money and law school was almost over for the both of us, so it wouldn’t take long to financial stability (lawyers make good money in Brazil).

It didn’t took me long to realize i was the one doing everything. I moved back to my parent’s to save money (which seemed like the wisest thing to do) and got plus hours at work. Got her a half time job (as a secretaire, a pretty easy job) in which she worked for a few months before quitting. When my son was born, she told me that she didn’t wanted anything to do with me and she denied me a lot of stuff. I couldn’t even put my father’s last name on my own son. I could sue her for that, but it didn’t seemed correct for me to start my son’s life with such an aggressive action.

She tries her best to keep me from seeing my son (i had to call the police twice only so that i could see him once in every 15 days) and i’m aware that she’s going to try to replace me as soon as she gets a boyfriend… She’ll probably fail though, as the boy loves to see me! I’m waiting for him to be old enough so that i can reach for the law and take him to my hometown on the weekends… That will be awesome, i never thought i’d love someone so much as i love him! hahahaha

Getting to the point: In college i wasn’t really into the feminism debates as i was far more interested in learning the law and you only have 5 years to do it in Brazil. But as it all began i got exposed to a weird situation:

I had just jumped out of the bus and there was 3 girls chatting about my in my bus stop. I said “hi” and they started ranting about how “single fathers always abort themselves from their kid’s lifes”. For God’s sake!! I pay so much alimony she doesn’t even spend her own money on the child… Isn’t that caring??

I didn’t paid any attention, so i got home and did some research on feminism. It didn’t took long until i found a feminist ranting about MRA’s and from that i knew the MGTOW’s…

So… Any comments??
