No women around, few friends, and working on myself and my hobbies all the time is cool. But I’ve found after doing this for a while in isolation, I lose the taste for it all. It’s like none of it matters. Like the song “Take it easy … don’t let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy.” I have three or four hobbies I’m devoted to, but after a few rounds of each, what is left?
I usually end up reading this forum, thinking about some s~~~ty experiences I’ve had with the blue-pill world, re-reading the same few pages from the same books, or staring out the window. Work is done, yard is mowed, music has been practiced, new topics have been studied, and it’s only noon. It was exciting at first. But after a couple years of it…what’s left?
Good things I do are mix it up and try to create variety… going to a new place, making new food, but these are small things. I’m still figuring out how to best live by myself. Being disengaged and ghosting society, there is much less s~~~ to deal with, but I also don’t want to turn out like Jack from The Shining. Pretty sure others have faced the same dilemma & seems like a worthwhile discussion to bring up.

If you really want endless excitement get married! That’ll take care of all your hobbies and anything else!
Nothing like having the s~~~ kicked out of you by what you thought was the love of your life to make you enjoy again the freedom to do whatever whenever you please. When one finds that peace again, one starts to enjoy the little things!

You must own a better Crystal ball than IThis is exactly what the RED PILL entails, facing your fears and being isolated. Isolation does not have to be a depressing thing. Ever since we were little boys, society has drilled into our heads that we MUST get married and have kids. We need to undo this conditioning. Brother, we are all in the same boat. Hang in there. I pursue one of my main passions, Electronics Engineering, slow and steady. Take it little bit at a time, rather than go full hardcore, otherwise I will burn out.
A tranquil mind is neither happy nor sad, it is uninfluenced by external conditions.
If you really want excitement, go overseas on vacation. Get a change of scene. Go see the world.
This is exactly what the RED PILL entails, facing your fears and being isolated.
The Red Pill Only Provides the Truth, Nothing More, Nothing less.

I’ll add that one other priority that has helped is physical exercise. I’d put this at the top for what is essential to live well alone, at least for me. If I’m doing everything else besides staying in shape, I burn out more quickly. Working out reconnects my mind to my body and makes me feel alive.

I would much rather figure out how to fight back some boredom in the day, than spend my life sleep walking forward, working myself to death, just trying to please a c~~~.
It is all mindset. Be grateful for the things you have, the time you have to pursue your hobbies etc.
“Man is a goal-seeking animal. His life only has meaning if he is reaching out and striving for his goals.” Aristotle.
Could be that your current goals aren’t challenging enough to stimulate you?
I think that comfort is great…but too much comfort can weaken a man’s spirit in time.Totally agree with regard to exercise. If I find myself frustrated or dealing with a little cabin fever I smash a heavy f~~~ing workout until it’s out of my system lol
All of that being said, as someone who is ghosting quite heavily now – I agree it can be very challenging some days.
~ Were you listening to me, Neo? Or were you looking at the woman in the red dress? ~
I’ve had days like that. I’m considering finding some sort of volunteer venue or something of that nature to be involved in. I’ve found that life is so much more pleasurable helping others and creating constructive things. You can only do so much for yourself I think, and enjoy it only for so long. I think on the inside, we all know that all of a man’s toil here on earth is only going to be given away or something of that sort. Better to leave helpful change, and fight back the destructive principalities through good deeds, and being an example. Would you agree?
The truth will set you free.

Yes, I have been stuck in that boring place. When you realize the magic that is all around in every day things, you will no longer be bored. Look at the small things in life that you are taking for granted. There is magic in life, even in the mundane. Every breath, every thought, every day is brand new.
