I shall fondly refer to this as progress.

(This chart is built on U.S. census data so your particular country’s exact figures may vary).

Also note this is effectively showing the rate of not marrying even once so divorce is not considered in this cart as such this chart reflects the growth rate of full on bullet dodgers.

In accordance with cdf of a normal distribution, it is safe to predict that in the next few decades the graph will stay flat below 10% from age 0 to 30, then suddenly spike to 70% before plateauing from there. In other words, people will generally stop  getting married in their 20s as society will frown upon marriage when they don’t have financial stability. At 30 however, suddenly they will feel the need to marry after burning with passion. Since divorce rates are increasing, the couple will likely divorce in their early 40s if not a little earlier and this will discourage remarriage later one resulting in a plateauing percentage.
