I’m on my second marriage, and had I been wiser as a young man, my first would have been my last. I’m convinced that Jack Nicholson’s description in “As Good As It Gets” of how he conceives of a woman character – “I think of a man, and then I take away reason and accountability” – is a dead-center bull’s-eye.

Perhaps you’ve been there too. Many of us have.

The “marriage strike.” The careful, adroit techniques employers have for avoiding the hiring of women. The virtual elimination of a sober, civil inter-gender society on college campuses. And of course, “Game,” which has come out of the shadows through the offices of agencies such as “The Return of Kings.”

Men have our weaknesses, of course. One of them is the desire for female admiration. Another is the belief that we’re supposed to absorb female abuse without reacting against it. And a third is the insane belief that sex is something we can’t live without. A colleague of mine once cited an old, cynical maxim to me: “If you want sex, go to a prostitute. If you want love, buy a dog.” There’s a lot of insight in those words. Neither course of action is at all difficult. So why do we bother with the typical, unceasingly demanding and wholly irrational American woman?

The way things are trending, perhaps, in a very few years more…we won’t.

Some say that not all women are like that though. There was a woman who said this to me in a local German MRM forum. She said that she herself is a bright positive example, I could even ask her two ex-husbands…LOL…sometimes you do not need to find confirmation for a (pre-)judice…it is constantly updated by reality

I have been thinking a lot about Jack Nicholson lately, mainly his performance in the Witches of Eastwick, where he pulls off becoming the devil for a harem of witches.

The delivery of the line you quote though is brilliant. I marvel at Nicholson’s demonic eyebrows while acting.

Why prostitutes though? Sex can be fantastic f~~~ing yourself. There are many resources on solo, non-ejaculatory multiorgasms for men. Also, dog love is based on providing and their acting skills, much like women. About love, a friend of mine suggests: love everyone, trust no-one.
