I know not all here would agree, but I really like Russia, they have their heart in the right place and won’t put their nose where it doesn’t belong.

 

In my homeland (Norway) the flag is the essence of who we are, it’s a badge of honour and noone would ever think the thought of refusing anyone the right to wave it, it has never been a question of ethnicity (though there has been those who tried).

In my birthplace (Sweden) it’s rather the opposite; it has gone so far as a prohibition to let school children sing the national anthem in several places as it could “exclude children whose PARENTS were BORN outside of Sweden”.
