Never mind, new place, new username, same old story – the past is the past.

For myself, born in the UK, became a successful Internet entrepreneur back in the late 1990’s. Got married with a kid on the way, life was great.

The end of the .com boom saw everything go t~~~ up and all of a sudden we’re selling the 5-bedroom executive house for a cramped 3-bedroom rental. Spend the next few years reinventing myself and getting making a reliable consultancy income from The City and then 2008 hits and everyone is suddenly unemployed. Struggled through for about 3-months with outgoings of ÂŁ3,500 a month (about $5,300 US) and no income coming in and kindly ask my wife if she could help the family out by using her MBA to get a job and bring in some additional income, just while I get back on my feet.

Suddenly, my wife, who had never had to work since the day she met me decides that she doesn’t love me any more and does a runner with the kid, of course being from a religious background divorce is out of the question, but she still wants a massive amount of money in ‘Child Support’ and I can forget about seeing the kid that I’m theoretically supporting (actually its just her sorry ass, not the kids).

Sell the house, move somewhere smaller, get another job (after 6-months) and start paying the ‘Child Support’, life starts to get better, I’ve got more money than I ever had before because even with the ‘Child Support’ I don’t have to pay for her sorry ass, live in an expensive house or buy crap every time I’m forced through one of her Death March through the Shopping Mall’s every weekend.

So, I gradually found that life as a 47 year old, single guy who makes decent money and spends very little of it is actually quite good. Then I found the old MGTOW Forums and the good folks there explained to me exactly why my wife had f~~~ed herself over for no real reason. I eventually came to the conclusion that my wife was as bats~~~ crazy as every other woman on the planet and the only difference between them all is degree.

Better off without… 🙂

You lived the illusion and the scars you bear from it become your illustrations on yourself, burned in, not willingly but unrelentingly. Man, I am sincerely sorry you had to go through that, you never deserved it, not once, not ever. You loved your kid and all that meant was more ammunition for her to use against you – I, never having a kid, cannot really know what that feels like but I can imagine as I have brothers who could have been ripped from me. So TIM (“The Illustrated Man”), the short name of my middle name is also TIM, and I welcome you here as a kindred spirit. If you have any room left to burn in a tatoo, burn in MGTOW, it will cause you no pain. 🙂

When I go shopping, I am done everything within 10 minutes flat. I walk into the store, grab what I want, leave. Women? Oh god, they need to try on EVERYTHING and go to EVERY store in the whole mall. Like someone shoot me. How can anyone spend 30 minutes per store just for clothes? God I am so happy I don’t have to do that anymore. And Welcome to MGTOW.

I left my wife the house and her vehicle both totally paid for no mortgage, but she still ended up in government housing.

crazy is correct. welcome back TIM

I was bound to be misunderstood, and I laugh at those who misunderstand me. Kind mockery at the well intentioned, but unfettered cruelty towards those would be prison guards of my creative possibilities. This so as to learn as much from misunderstanding as from understanding. Taking pleasure in worthy opponents and making language fluid and flowing like a river yet pointed and precise as a dagger. Contradicts the socialistic purpose of language and makes for a wonderful linguistic dance, A verbal martial art with constant parries that hone the weapon that is the two edged sword of my mouth.
